In the NBA's version of a doubleheader, the Utah Jazz play Golden State on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.

Tipoff is 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ROOT Sports.

The Jazz and Warriors play each other only 48 hours after they battled at Oracle Arena in Oakland on Saturday night.

In the first quarter of that game, Utah made only six of its 22 shots and committed five turnovers as Golden State built a 27-13 lead.

For the Jazz, the game was a back-to-back affair. They lost to reigning Western Conference champion San Antonio in Salt Lake City on Friday night, 91-82.

According to veteran forward Richard Jefferson, Utah's slow start at Golden State could have been partly attributed to the emotional effort against the Spurs.

'I think we'll have some more legs tonight than we did going into that game,' Jefferson said at the morning shootaround. 'We had a great battle with San Antonio that went down to the final quarter. Then you go in against this team and we got off to a slow start.'

Golden State is 7-3 and tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the early lead in the Pacific Division.

The Warriors, who shoot 45 percent from the 3-point line, are led by guards Klay Thompson (20.9) and Stephen Curry (19.3). They combined for 40 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists in the Warriors' 12-point win over the Jazz just two nights ago.

Utah is 1-10 so far this season and, after playing Golden State, hits the road for three games at New Orleans, Dallas and Oklahoma City.
