Em recently visited a French radio station to promote the new studio set and he explained the long period of time between the release of 'LP 2' and 2010's 'Recovery'. The 41 year-old told France's NRJ radio, ''It's basically because I'm lazy that it took so long! Now that the album is done, I'm finally going to shower.' The 'Stan' rapper revealed he spent a lot of his free time working on projects for his own record label 'Shady Records'. He states, 'I did the 'Recovery' album then I started working on some side projects for Shady Records, the label.' 'I did some producing on a Yellow Wolf album and the Slaughterhouse album.' Adding, 'I did a collaboration album with Royce tha '59 called Bad Meets Evil. In the middle of all that I was recording for this album.' French Economy Shrinks as Businesses Hold Off on Investment

<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'>The French economy unexpectedly shrank in the third quarter as President Francois Hollande failed to revive corporate investment in the face of one of the world's heaviest tax burdens. Gross domestic product fell 0.1 percent in the three months through September, national statistics office Insee said in an e-mailed statement. Economists forecast no growth, according to the median of 24 estimates in a Bloomberg News survey. The figures, which follow France's exit from recession in the second quarter, underline the issues Hollande is confronting as he tries to revive Europe's second-largest economy and reverse an increase in unemployment that's at a 14-year high. Facing taxes equivalent to 46 percent of GDP, companies such as Cie de Saint Gobain SA are cutting investment spending or holding off raising it. 'The French economy may have touched bottom but companies are still hesitating,' said Michel Martinez, an economist at Societe Generale in Paris. 'There remains huge uncertainty around economic policy and profit margins are among the weakest in Europe. The upshot is that we have a recovery but a tepid one.' Investment spending by non-financial companies fell 0.6 percent in the quarter, while consumer spending rose 0.2 percent. Standard & Poor's, which last week cut France's sovereign credit rating, estimates that government revenue amounts to 53 percent of GDP, the highest of any country outside Scandinavia. French state spending totals more than 56 percent of GDP, the highest in the euro area and second-highest among members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, according to S&P. Thin Margins Across the French economy, corporate profit margins are at their lowest level since the mid-1980s. Operating margins at French companies have contracted almost 40 percent in the last decade, figures from the Groupe des Federations Industrielles show. The operating margins of German companies have gained about 40 percent, GFI estimates. Hollande has sought to shore up the competitiveness of French businesses by offering a payroll tax credit starting this year, by paring government spending and easing labor laws. Yet S&P and the European Commission say those efforts haven't gone far enough. 'The recent competitiveness reforms are expected to gradually reduce the pace of losses in export market shares, although without fully reversing the trend,' the European Union's executive arm said in a report Nov. 5. 'Entrepreneurs are likely to give priority to the restoration of their profit margins before considering investing,' it said, adding that it doesn't expect an investment recovery before 2015. Photograph: Google </div> <div id="article-body-blocks"> With its winding network of canals, cobblestone alleys and streets, the car-free city of Venice always presented a challenge to the Google Street View team. But today, thanks to “superfit” Google employees who spent two months walking around the city with a camera strapped to their back, the internet giant has finally added the watery Italian town to their Street View portfolio. From today, it is possible to wander through St Mark’s Square, cross the Rialto and promenade the waterfront of Venice’s Grand Canal via your computer or smartphone. The ambitious project took place during April and May this year, when members of the Street View opeations team took two backpack-mounted “Trekker” cameras through the pedestrianised city. The Trekker, which weighs about 20kg and is four feet in height, takes a photo every 2.5 seconds, collecting 360 degree imagery as it is carried. In order to capture views of the picturesque city from the water, the Trekker cameras were also taken along the canals by boat, for an aspect of the project dubbed “Google Gondola”. Since then Google have been stitching and aligning the images in order to create a seamless panorama of Venice’s piazzas, alleways and bridges that can now be explored online. Google have also partnered with the city’s Museo Correr, Museo del Vetro and Ca’ Pesaro International Gallery of Modern Art to provide online access to many works of art within their collections as part of Google’s Cultural Institute project. The project provides a digital archive of artworks, landmarks and world heritage sites around the world. Within it is the Google Art Project, which uses the same technology as Street View to allow users to explore the interiors of some of the world’s most important art institutions, such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Acropolis Museum in Athens and the National Gallery in London. Venice is one of the last cities in western Europe to be added to Street View, a project which started in 2007. In order to capture locations inaccessible by car, Google created the Trekker backpack to allow individuals to collect images in remote destinations by foot. With special patriotic uniforms, an appearance on ESPN2 and a potential MAC championship game appearance on the line, Northern Illinois had reason to enjoy the spotlight Wednesday night against Ball State. Northern Illinois won 48-27 in a game that lived up to its hype. Quarterbacks Jordan Lynch of Northern Illinois and Keith Wenning of Ball State were worth the trip for the seven NFL scouts who watched them perform. Lynch boosted his Heisman Trophy resume on an 85-yard touchdown drive in the third quarter that helped the Huskies regain the lead. He shook off a Ball State defender like a WWE wrestler on third-and-10 deep in NIU territory and rushed for 6 yards on fourth-and-1. Running back Cameron Stingily, used sparingly because of turf toe, punched it in from a yard out on another fourth-down for a 27-24 lead. Wenning, meanwhile, entered the game fourth nationally in passing yards but it was Ball State running back Jahawn Edwards the Huskies struggled to contain. After beating their last three opponents by an average of 34.7 points, the Huskies were right to sense Wednesday night would bring a challenge. They trailed 24-20 at halftime, the first time they fell behind after two quarters since the second game at Idaho. The Huskies hadn't trailed at all since the first quarter of the Central Michigan game Oct. 19. While the game will be remembered for its efficient offenses, both teams had plays they would have liked to take back before halftime. The Cardinals opted for an onside kick after going up 14-10 in the second quarter, but the Huskies recovered and drove for a 20-yard field goal. In the final minute of the half, Huskies coach Rod Carey called two timeouts in an unsuccessful attempt to ice Ball State kicker Scott Secor, who nailed a 43-yarder. He's now a full-time bench player for Kevin McHale's Rockets and no better than third in the team's pecking order, with Dwight Howard the new superstar in town and James Harden playing in his second season in Houston. So Lin, who set the NBA on its ear two seasons ago when he had a couple of miracle weeks winning games for Mike D'Antoni's Knicks, doesn't expect nearly the commotion he saw last season in his first return to New York. 'People have been asking, 'You think it will be a big deal?'' he said after the Rockets' shootaround Wednesday in the Wells Fargo Center. 'I don't really think so. I think people are going to be more excited, or there's going to be a lot of attention around Dwight and James. They are the face of the franchise. I'm hoping I will be a subplot.'' RELATED: 'LINSANITY' NOW A BENCH ACT IN HOUSTON When James Dolan decided not to match the Rockets' $25-million offer-sheet in the summer of 2012, sending Lin on his way, he arrived in Houston as the player the Rockets wanted to build around. That was a new kind of Linsanity, since he doesn't have near the talent or game to warrant being cast as a leading man. But the Rockets put up billboards around Houston and had signs on busses with his smiling face. What a mistake that would have been, to try to make Lin the man, given that he was still developing after his arrival in the NBA as an undrafted player out of Harvard in 2010. Now as the team's sixth man, he's found a more suitable role. 'It's different and definitely an adjustment,'' he said. 'But I'm so thankful, every day. Every day I still get to play and two years ago I was just trying to make it, hoping I would be on the team. The 15th man didn't matter to me. Just as long as I'm on the team. But they fail to recognize that as Patrick Beverley's backup, Lin is thriving. Going into the game against the Sixers, he was averaging 16 points on 55% shooting, while still turning the ball over at a high rate (3.5 per game). 'I think he's playing better right now than he did at any point for us last season,'' McHale said. 'He's confident. His leg is healthy. He's really been great for us all year long. He put in a big summer of work. His shot is better. We just need for him to do what he does: Attack, make plays and defensively be solid.'' As Lin has produced, the Rockets have seen their rebuilding campaign come together in less than a year. They're contenders to win the West. Again, Lin was lucky. 'I didn't sign with Houston expecting that we would have Dwight and James today,'' he admitted. 'But I do believe God has a perfect plan and I think for me, I'm just going with the flow.'' Acting very much like a small-market team with limited resources, the Oklahoma City Thunder decided it could not afford to give Harden an $80-million extension when it was already paying Kevin Durant top dollar, and would soon have to do the same for Russell Westbrook. The tax bill was beyond the Thunder's means, so it traded Harden to Houston at the start of last season. Lucky Break No. 2: Howard decided last summer that being asked to win championships involved too much pressure in Laker-crazed Los Angeles. So one of the game's top divas and defenders opted to play in a more mellow market, becoming the first Laker superstar to leave the team as a free agent. Ask Lin how he likes throwing lobs to Howard and he breaks into a wide smile. 'He definitely changes a game,'' he said. 'Completely.'' Obama will talk about the recovery of the U.S. auto industry, the energy benefits of auto fuel-efficiency standards, and the attractiveness of the United States for foreign investment when he visits the ArcelorMittal Cleveland facility, the White House said. The company has brought back workers furloughed in 2008 during the U.S. recession and has added 150 new jobs, the White House said in a statement. ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaker, is headquartered in Luxembourg. The company’s chief executive, Lakshmi Mittal, is due to meet greet Obama at the Ohio plant. “Industries like steel that rely heavily on demand from the auto manufacturers, including fabricated metals and machinery, have been the source of most of U.S. manufacturing job growth since early 2010,” the White House said in a statement. Obama’s trip to Ohio comes a day after his administration released figures showing that many fewer Americans than originally expected signed up for health insurance plans under the law known as Obamacare since enrollment began on October 1. The administration said on Wednesday that 106,000 people enrolled in insurance plans – far fewer than the millions of people who had been projected to do so. Obama’s fellow Democrats are demanding that the White House swiftly help people whose existing insurance policies have been canceled because of higher standards under the healthcare law and to fix the program’s broken website by the end of the month. On a visit to Louisiana and Florida last week, Obama reminded audiences that Republican governors of those states passed up the chance to expand healthcare coverage to low-income people through an expansion of the Medicaid health insurance program for the poor. He will be able to tell his audience that in Ohio, Republican Governor John Kasich backed a broadening of Medicaid, bringing in $ 2.5 billion in federal funding that is expected to provide coverage for 275,000 state residents. With the Kansas City Chiefs rolling along at 9-0, tickets for the Denver Broncos' visit to Arrowhead Stadium on December 1st are a hot commodity (the two teams also meet this weekend, in Denver). One woman put up a Craigslist ad looking to trade her wedding ring (appraised at $3,100), for two tickets to the Chiefs' home game, in order to treat her husband as a 40th birthday present, according to the Denver Post. While that may seem extreme, the fan clarified that the ring is from a previous marriage, not her current one. Via the Denver Post: [Wedding Ring Lady] wrote in the email that the ring 'holds no value to me and is a lot easier to part with over tickets than handing that much cash over for the tickets.' WRL said that she has indeed had some offers for her barter, but she's turned them down. She's currently working with someone on an offer that she likes, and she said that she should know if it's all going to work out in the next day or so. To Jayman, I bid you a good stay, a good holiday, and I hope that your family is actually glad that you are spending time with them. As to a certain housekeeping note, Jay informed me that if he is murdered while in Omaha, he has written down on a piece of *******, that explains why *********  **** killed him. I appreciate that, and if not too drunk upon his demise while on holiday, I will follow-up upon that. Seriously though? I know that Jayman loves his family, and well…they are a very nice family, and he is a fairly nice guy. I dearly love my family, except for one sister, and… I love many people with whom I have united with, reunited with, discovered, and re-discovered. Many of whom, helped Schmoop and I through a most tumultuous this time last year. I have always been a sucker for Thanksgiving, because it was the one time a year that all of my family was together…all day. As the youngest of nine, it wasn’t Christmas Eve when we gathered at 7 PM for a few hours that turned me on, it was Thanksgiving…Thanksgiving was all day family…I miss it…I loved it. I am so happy that Jayman is seeking a week of solace away with his family as they celebrate the white man inviting Indians over for a meal, taking their land, all the while drugging the redskin with tryptophan… That is so real, so God-Sent, so American!! <h2>The noise-rap group posted the 11-song set online</h2> <div class="body"> A little over a year after noise-rap malcontents Death Grips raised a middle finger to the music industry by posting their album No Love Deep Web as a free download on their website, they’ve just posted another new record. Their third full-length, Government Plates, is now available to download here and here and stream in the Soundcloud below. The group also posted each of the LP’s 11 tracks to its YouTube channel with visuals. Photos: Death Grips and other Bands at Pitchfork Paris The record comes just a few days before No Love Deep Web will be getting an official physical release, via a partnership with Harvest Records. On Tuesday, the album will be available – with artwork that sanitizes the pink phallus that graced the art accompanying the free download – as a CD, vinyl and newly priced download. When Death Grips released the album last year, they did it against the wishes of their label at the time, Epic. The reasoning they gave for making the album available was that Epic had pushed the record’s release date into 2013. The label subsequently dropped Death Grips from its roster. Since then the trio has taken well to doing things for themselves, with some members touring festivals (for better or worse) while drummer Zach Hill worked on Death Grips–related projects. The band announced Hill’s hiatus in May with a post that said in a statement to Pitchfork, “Zach is currently writing, directing and soundtracking an original feature film. . . The film will be soundtracked with all new Death Grips music. He is also working on and recording the new Death Grips album at the moment.” In August, the trio previewed Government Plates when they posted a video and download link for the track “Birds” to Facebook. Widespread looting of rice stocks and other supplies broke out across the central Philippines on Wednesday despite the deployment of solders to maintain law and order. While international relief efforts have picked up, many petrol station owners whose businesses were spared have refused to reopen, leaving little fuel for trucks needed to move supplies and medical teams around the devastated areas nearly a week after Typhoon Haiyan struck. Mayor Alfred Romualdez said worst-hit Tacloban city lacked manpower and vehicles to deliver supplies and to clear bodies off the streets. “We’re on the seventh day and there are still bodies on the road,” he told Reuters. “It’s scary,” Romualdez said. “There is a request from a community to come and collect bodies, they say it’s five or 10. He has said the death toll might have been higher had it not been for the evacuation of people and the readying of relief supplies. The Philippines formally asked Washington for help on Saturday, one day after the storm slammed into cities and towns in the central Philippines, the U.S. State Department said. Aquino has also triggered questions over the loss of life, citing a much lower death toll than the 10,000 estimated by local officials. Darrell Issa, the chairman of the committee, and Jim Jordan, who chairs one of its subcommittees, asked the White House to allow Jeanne Lambrew, a senior White House official responsible for healthcare policy, to appear at a November 20 hearing. They also invited Nancy-Ann DeParle, Obama’s former top health adviser, who has left the White House. Kathryn Ruemmler, Obama’s counsel, told the lawmakers in a letter dated Tuesday that the administration had already provided an “extraordinary” amount of information about the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare. She noted recent testimony and briefings on Capitol Hill from senior officials involved in Obamacare, including two White House information technology officials – Todd Park, the chief technology officer, and Steven VanRoekel, the chief information officer, who testified on Wednesday. The Oversight Committee subpoenaed Park to testify after the White House said initially he would be too busy fixing the website to appear before the committee until December. At Wednesday’s hearing, Jordan said Lambrew and DeParle should appear because “they are the political people in charge” and determined the website should launch on October 1 despite not being ready to go live. Ruemmler did not say no – but she did not say yes, either. “I would encourage you to continue to direct your inquiries to the agencies responsible for implementing the ACA,” Ruemmler wrote in the letter. “Requesting the testimony of senior White House officials on the broad and amorphous range of issues referenced in your letter is an extraordinary step that is not tied to any legitimate oversight interest of the committee,” Ruemmler said. A tighter labor market and signs of rising wages should bolster consumer spending in coming quarters, economists said. Retail sales are likely to pick up before a sales tax rise in April and stimulus spending should help growth, which bodes well for Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's push to foster self-sustaining growth and end 15 years of mild deflation. However, capital expenditure growth slowed to 0.2 percent in July-September, well below a median estimate of 0.8 percent and suggesting companies remain reluctant to deliver the increased investment needed to secure a sustained recovery. 'Economic growth is expected to accelerate in the final quarter of this year. Despite the soft headline figure today, there's no need to be pessimistic about the outlook,' said Junko Nishioka, chief economist at RBS Securities. 'The government's stimulus package is likely to help boost capital expenditure. The ball is in the government's court so I don't think the Bank of Japan will come under pressure for further monetary easing any time soon.' Annualized third-quarter growth was 1.9 percent, higher than the median forecast of 1.7 percent, Cabinet Office data showed. Private consumption, which makes up about 60 percent of the economy, grew 0.1 percent in July-September, matching the median estimate and following a revised 0.6 percent growth in April-June as falls in Japanese shares weighed on consumer sentiment. External demand subtracted 0.5 percentage point from GDP in July-September, more than the median estimate for a 0.4 percentage point subtraction. That follows a revised 0.1 percentage point contribution in the previous quarter. Exports to Southeast Asia weakened as large capital outflows from the region slowed growth. However, economists expect exports to improve going into next year as overseas economies stabilize. Inventories contributed 0.4 percentage point to GDP in the third quarter, after detracting 0.1 percentage points in the previous quarter. Abe's plan is to combine fiscal spending, economic reforms and monetary stimulus to pull Japan out of a decades-long economic slump.
