I find it interesting that Nbc cut off their relationship with Microsoft (the MSNBC channel is a casualty) but this move shows just how serious people are about the place Twitter has in the social media landscape. I find it ironic how many of my students are now moving to Twitter from Facebook because "my parents are on Facebook." Some are already latching onto Tumblr - another very powerful network.
