JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – Former South African President Nelson Mandela, who was hospitalised for nearly three months earlier this year with a lung infection, remains in stable but critical condition, the government said on Monday.
“The health of the former President remains much the same … which is stable but critical,” the government said in a statement, adding that the 95-year-old continued to respond to treatment.
