November 04, 2013 - NETHERLANDS - At least three tornadoes struck the Netherlands Sunday as a storm system swept through northwestern Europe. One tornado struck Arnhem in Gelderland province while the other struck Wijk bij Duurstede, Utrecht province. Here are some videos and photos of the storms from social media.

Temperatures were only in the lower 50s at the time of the tornadoes, but very cold air in the upper atmosphere made the atmosphere just unstable enough for thunderstorms.
