According to the TV Times Andrew Buchan has confirmed that he will return to the role of bereaved dad Mark Latimer for the second series of hit ITV series Broadchurch.

However, series creator Chris Chibnall has reiterated that nothing has been confirmed about the new series so far. Series 2 of Broadchurch is expected to go into production in late spring 2014
