It has been a long time since there have been seven American Idols with albums on the BillBoard 200 album chart, but with Daughtry's debut and Phillip Phillip's re-entry this is one of those rare weeks! Daughtry leads the pack with "Baptized" opening at #6 with sales of 55,000. Not too far behind is Kelly Clarkson at #9 whose "Wrapped in Red" continues to post strong holiday sales of 44K which puts her total to 200K in just 4 weeks. The next two are country Idols Scotty McCreery at #63 with "See You Tonight" and Kellie Pickler at #69 in her second week with "The Woman I Am". Since they are country acts, their sales numbers are on the Roughstock blog, so we can see Scotty sold another 7K to bring his total to 106K and Kellie sold 6K more to bring her two week total to 23K. Scotty actually has another album on the chart with "Christmas With Scotty McCreery" selling a healthy 4K to bring that holiday album's total sales to 362K. I have updated my chart of Scotty's album sales (excluding "Clear As Day") which shows how "See You Tonight" sales have slowed compared to his Christmas album or even his EP sales (during the 2011 Idol Live Tour back when it was actually popular!) Scotty needs some promo to boost his album sales!

Mandisa's "Overcomer" has  actually stayed very consistent at #124 both this week and last week, so I have changed my top graph to start with her debut 13 weeks ago (starting from the beginning of September.) My chart had been getting too ugly! Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" has fallen to #157 after 82 weeks, and Phillip Phillips' "The World From the Side of the Moon" re-entered at #196. Carrie actually has a new release tomorrow if you include the soundtrack to the new "Sound of Music" where she sings with Vampire Bill from "True Blood". Amazingly, Stephen Moyer can actually sing!

Next week the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales will get added to everyone's numbers so even if their chart placement does not move much their total sales should increase.
