Clouds will be on the increase tonight out ahead of our next cold front.  Due to the increased cloud cover and a south to southwesterly breeze, temperatures will remain much milder than they have the past few nights.  We'll be waking up to temperatures mainly in the 50 to 55 range across the region.

Thursday will start off with cloudy skies and a southwesterly breeze, perhaps gusting up to 35 mph at times along and ahead of the cold front.  Showers will develop from west to east through the morning hours, but the front will slide through pretty quickly so most areas will experience drying by the early afternoon hours (late afternoon hours for South Jersey and the Shore).  In fact, many of us will see the sun return before it sets.  Temperatures should manage the mid 60s in Philadelphia before the showers arrive, but we'll all finish the day in the 50s as cooler air builds in behind the front on a northwest wind.

Thursday morning will be the last of the milder temperatures for a while as a cool area of high pressure settles over the region.  Early next week, another cold front will make a run at our area and even cooler air will arrive, especially by the middle of next week.
