David Tennant has contributed the reading of a poem to BBC Radio Berkshire's Poetry Week celebrations in the run up to National Poetry Day on Thursday.
David read Brush Up Your Shakespeare by Cole Porter, which was played on the Mike Read show this afternoon.

National Poetry Day 2013 takes place on Thursday 3rd October and this year's theme is Water, Water, Everywhere. The nationwide celebration of poetry for everyone, everywhere, is a chance for people to use poetry to say things that can’t be said in prose. Find out more here
