Rhythmic Gymnast Shin Soo-ji is Making YouTube Waves

<div class="MsoNormal">I had mentioned in a post <a href="http://www.whatisgoingoninmymind.blogspot.com/2013/07/firework-mishap-shin-soo-ji-desolation.html">on my other blog</a> that rhythmic gymnasts don’t really get a fair shake along the grand scale of the athletic landscape, and while the ceremonial first pitch delivered by South Korea’s Shin Soo-ji is fascinating in its own right, it is causing a bit of a YouTube sensation.  I know what you’re thinking, it’s just a pitch in a South Korean baseball game, but it is more the display of talent (and flexibility) that are really catching in the video.<o:p></o:p></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">According to NESN, Shin Soo-ji tossed the ball <a href="http://nesn.com/2013/07/rhythmic-gymnast-shin-soo-ji-shows-off-flexibility-with-incredible-windup-on-first-pitch-video/">before a game</a>between the Doosan Bears and Samsung Lions in Seoul.  Granted, the pitch was not a strike, but just like a great comedy it’s the delivery that really matters.  This girl gets high marks for poise, flair, flexibility, and confidence, because just getting the ball to the catcher is a big deal in my book.<o:p></o:p></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><br /><div class="MsoNormal">The viral video has since climbed over two million views.  I hope Shin Soo-ji is ready for a little more attention from her nation and the world after this. <o:p></o:p></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/RVeo6QMcbW4" width="560"></iframe>
