Staunton's Ox-Eye Vineyards rakes in more accolades

Nevertheless, there are lots of great  wineries in this region and they are producing wines and a few varietals  that are distinct to the AVA. <a href="http://www.oxeyevineyards.com/">Ox-Eye Vineyards</a> is one of these wineries. Since my first visit a couple years ago, I've become a huge fan.</blockquote>Brian's post offers good background on the beginnings of Ox-Eye as well as the refurbished historic Wharf District building where the tasting room is located.
