Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel will be celebrating their first Christmas as parents with son Axl Jack, and the singer told ABC News Radio that the perfect gift for her son is something that money can't buy.
"Woohoo! First Christmas with Axl!" Fergie said, laughing. "First of all, his name means the 'Father of Peace,' so we're trying to bring some peace into this little man's life."
In other words, Fergie said, she's planning give her baby, who was born in August, some extra attention for the holiday.
"I think the present that he would most want is to be held all the time. I think that's really what a child wants the most," Fergie told ABC News Radio. "It's hard because you want to give them independence and teach them independence, to be able to self-soothe, but when they're complaining and cranky, you just want to pick them up and hold them and nurture them."
And even when it's not Christmas, Fergie admitted that she and her husband probably end up holding Axl a little too much.
"We get suckered into it. He manipulates us. It's hard to say no!" she said.
"Our Christmas plans are pretty simple this year. I like it that way. We're home, just family around here. My mother's out here right now. My sister's coming out next week. Other than that we're just going to stick around here," he said, adding, "I'm loving it. I look forward to many more. I can't wait for him to tear through gifts. It won't be this year."
Keep reading to find out how other celebrity first-time parents will spend Christmas with baby.
1. A Royal Christmas
England's most famous infant, Prince George, will celebrate his first Christmas this year with his parents, William and Kate, and the rest of the royal family at an estate on England's east coast owned by his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. There, the family, including Prince Charles and Camilla and Prince Harry, will gather Christmas Eve to eat, exchange presents, attend church and hunt, although Prince George's exact schedule and participation in activities (especially the hunting) has not been confirmed by the Palace. Royal contributor Victoria Murphy told ABC News that Prince George will likely receive gifts from his family members, although traditionally, the royals only give one another small or humorous gifts.
2. A Kardashian Christmas
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be celebrating their first Christmas with daughter North, born in June, and the entire Kardashian clan. Responding to a fan's question on Mobio Insider, Kardashian wrote that she would be spending the holiday with "the entire family." "kanye, north, mom, sisters, step dad [Bruce Jenner], brother, niece, nephew, everyone!" she explained. "they are all my family and we will all be together! i can't wait!" She added, "it's my absolute favorite time of the year."

Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan Tatum said they can't wait to spoil their 6-month-old daughter Everly with tons of presents for her first Christmas, though she'll probably only be interested in the packaging. "For the holidays, we'll have a lots of family/presents and lots of food, and all she'll really want are the boxes," Dewan Tatum wrote during a Twitter Q&A earlier this month with Us Weekly. In addition to those traditional Christmas tunes, Everly is also likely to be listening to her favorite song this year: Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."
4. A Michael Bublé Christmas
Speaking of Christmas music, singer Michael Bublé, whose third annual Christmas special aired last week, will be celebrating his first Christmas with 4-month-old son Noah and model wife Luisana Lopilato. Not surprisingly he has a favorite song that he sings to his son. "You know what's really funny, it's a song that I've never recorded," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I always sing 'Little Drummer Boy' to him. It's so relaxing when I'm holding him, I get deep, and he just kinda stares at me and passes out in my arms."
