The Twitter stock opened 73% up from its IPO price of $26 per share.

The stock has till now reached a day high price of $50.09. Follow the stock live at

This is in sharp contrast to the fate of the FB stock on its opening day. the stock closed just a few cents above its IPO price of $38 per share in 2012.

Facebook is currently trading around $48.

So will the Twitter share live upto its expectations and valuations (around $18 bn) in the long term?
