There will be a brief step-back in temperatures for Tuesday due to a cooler northeast flow off the Atlantic. Puffy cumulus clouds will likely bubble up due to the extra moisture from the ocean. The northern and western suburbs should see more sunshine than the southern and eastern suburbs. Highs in Philadelphia will reach the mid to upper 50s with most of the suburbs in the mid 50s.
We should get back to 60 for Wednesday, but a disturbance in the upper atmosphere could spawn a spotty shower or two during the afternoon. Our next cold front will approach by Thursday night into Friday, and out ahead of it we should warm up to around 70 for Halloween. The weather looks great for trick-or-treating as any rain should hold off until we're sleeping. The first half of Friday looks showery, but it looks like we'll dry out late in the afternoon. Cooler air will slowly build in for the weekend, so the second half of the weekend will be much cooler than the first.
