Few days after realising apple’s 64-bit based processor iPhone 5S, Samsung made a statement that its next smartphone will powered by 64-bit processor.
Samsung’s co-CEO and mobile Chief JK Shin said that their upcoming smartphone will based on 64-bit processor. He said “Not in the shortest time. But yes, our next smartphones will have 64-bit processing functionality, Samsung understands that Apple intends to boost its mobile business in China, as well as in Japan, meaning that we should try harder in these countries”. He pointed towards the importance of Chinese and Japanese market. He was addressed at his regular weekly meeting of Samsung’s affiliates, report from The Korea Times. Another Samsung executive told that “Samsung recently got permission from China to put TD-LTE technology on its devices, so the company is planning to release devices with support of both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE in China ahead of previous schedules”.
He was very likely pointing towards its next generation smartphone Galaxy S5, most probably its 64-bit processor will introduce in Galaxy S5.
