Job Title: Technical Instructor
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
1.Responsible for conducting technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products.
2.Interfaces with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.
3.Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements, or software documentation. Works with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features.
4.Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
5.Follows up to determine applicability of course material.
Technical Instructor works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Requires a Masters degree or equivalent experience.
Education and Experience:
1.BS or Master degree in physics or optics or equivalent work experience.
2.Semiconductor experience in working with optical subsystems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
3.Experience working in a mixed environment with engineering and product support teams to identify and design learning curriculum to support tool performance needs of a field service engineer.
4.Formal training in instructional systems design or industry experience.
