Making Headway!

<p>It was so hard to get out of bed for church when my alarm went off at 7:15am since we didn’t make it to bed till after 1am, but we did and it was worth it. Church was really good and we caught up with a few friends!</p> <p>Afterwards Kyle and I headed home and started making breakfast. It was already after 11am and I hadn’t had anything to eat, so I was <strong>quite hungry</strong> so I grabbed a <strong>small banana</strong> to eat for a quick <strong>1 point snack</strong>! </p> <p>It’s pretty much a Sunday tradition to eat breakfast/lunch with Kyle’s parents and any other siblings that might happen to be in town! Today we thought it would be good on our wallets & calories (for me anyway!) to make something at home! I had <strong>banana pancakes</strong> with <strong>PB2</strong> and <strong>sugar free syrup</strong> for <strong>6 points</strong>. We ate our breakfast, or should I say <u>brunch</u>, while watching the <strong>Vikings game</strong>! It was a great game and they <u><strong>won</strong></u>!! Next week they will play the Saints! Hoping for <strong>another win</strong> and then on the <strong>SuperBowl</strong>!! While watching the half of the game I did sip on Diet Cherry Pepsi. <em>(I’m trying to track my pop intake better to see if it’s really true that whatever is in diet pop leads to sweet cravings…I’m hoping to prove that theory wrong!)</em></p> <p>After everyone headed out I knew I had to<strong> hit the gym</strong>! Kyle has had a nasty cold for the past 2 week and hasn’t been able to go to the gym. But I didn’t let the fact that he was home and couldn’t work out stop me! I got in <strong>40 minutes</strong> on the treadmill with a <strong>run/walk combo</strong>. I went a total <strong>3.33 miles</strong>. Now I know that doesn’t sound too great. But I ran <strong>3 miles</strong> in just<strong> 34 minutes</strong>, the rest was walking. Well, I mixed things up a bit this time! I made a<strong> ham & pineapple flat out pizza</strong>! It consisted of 1/4 sauce, 1/4 2% cheese, 1/2 pineapple, and a flat out, totaling only <strong>6 points</strong>! And look how big it is!! I also had a side of <strong>steamed cauliflower</strong> for <strong>0 points</strong>!
