<strong>Librarian I</strong> (Full-time) - The <strong><strong><span style="color: #48286d;">Lucy Robbins Welles Library</span></strong></strong>, Newington, Connecticut, is seeking a creative, energetic, people-oriented person to serve in its Collection Management (technical services) Department with reference desk duties. The successful candidate will possess strong computer technology and internet skills, must be able to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with all ages. Duties include but are not limited to, collection development which includes book selection, ordering, cataloging, and processing of materials, troubleshooting computer hardware and software, and backing up other public service desks as needed. Knowledge of automated library systems is a plus. An ALA accredited MLS is required. 35 hours per week with one evening a week and a Saturday rotation. Salary is $47,242. Excellent benefits.
