<strong>Library Aide I, Circulation Desk On-Call Substitutes</strong> - The <strong><strong><span style="color: #48286d;">Canton Public Library</span></strong></strong> seeks pleasant, customer service-oriented self-starters to join the staff of our friendly community library through the entry-level position of on-call substitute. Duties: Charging and discharging library materials; answering phones and routing calls; collecting fines and payments; issuing library cards; explaining library policies and procedures; assisting patrons in the use the self-checkout station, computers, catalog, and copier; answering basic information questions; performing other duties as requested or assigned. Hours & Pay: Currently $14.04 per hour. Requirements: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be a reader. Experience with technology such as Microsoft Office, digital photography, internet searching, social media, and the use of devices such as MP3 players and tablets, strongly preferred.
