This position is located within the Optical Metrology Division at KLA-Tencor.
You’ll be a key contributor as the Field Product Marketing manager with responsibility for a cross-functional product in the Optical metrology systems
As we build a world-class marketing team ,the Field Product Marketing manager will play an integral role in defining new solutions based on market and competitive trends. The job supports the company's overall strategy and goals through cross-functional collaboration.
Your role will be to capitalize on our huge opportunity in the Semiconductor Metrology market, identifying opportunities, developing and managing requirements for new systems targeted at this growing market segment. You will develop marketing requirements, define the user experience, manage customer engagements, use cases, craft product messaging and positioning, and have endto-end responsibility for the success of your portfolio.
You will provide vision and leadership to a cross-functional teams from different organizations responsible for developing and bringing to market exceptional solutions to semiconductor optical metrology. You will interface with Product Management, Engineering, Applications Engineering, the executive team, customers, solutions partners and industry consultants. The position is based out of our Migdal haemek office in Israel, with some travel required (expected 20-30%) for customer and vendor meetings, trade shows.
Responsibilities
Manage a key customer engagement and solutions
Develop product-customer strategy and roadmap; communicate vision for roadmap to senior management team and broader organization across company
Acts as business owner of major strategic enhancements, new products, and innovations
Develop market and product requirement with associated business cases and other deliverables ensure viability of product in the Optical Metrology Market
Effectively communicate product strategy, roadmap, and individual releases to the organization and market in conjunction with marketing and practice leaders.
Create customer-facing mechanisms such as user groups, focus groups, and technical review meeting
Drive new products or enhancements based on established Product Management methods to provide distinct and measurable results
Translating Marketing objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans
Support and facilitate development and implementation of business/marketing plans across division
Job Requirements
Ability to identify, evaluate and define new opportunities to expand the concept of content throughout our total solution
Ability to closely monitor industry trends, competitive new products or programs and primary/secondary market opportunities
Ability to provide deep analysis of customer and market trends for enhancement and development needed
Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality with in-depth detail driven.
Ability to think strategically and conceptually; aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with customers and vendors at both technical level;
Ability to negotiate with Executives, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineers on new functionality as well as enhancements; ability to create and present a successful case.
Product Management experience, MBA experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.Sc degree in Engineering, Science or Technical field.
In depth understanding of semiconductor process and interaction within semiconductor production FAB
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role in a semiconductor/capital equipment environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Prepared to travel about 25% of time to our customers all over the world.
