Peak leaf color above 4,000 feet is this weekend

Eric McCarty at Blue Ridge Parkway Color Tracker reports that peak leaf color will be this weekend, October 11-13, 2013, at elevations above 4,000 feet. That includes Grandfather Mountain, Craggy Gardens, and Mt. Mitchell in the North Carolina mountains.
