Tonight will be milder than last night, bringing us seasonably cool low temperatures.  Lows will range from the upper 30s in the northwest suburbs to the mid 40s in Philadelphia.  Skies will turn out partly cloudy overall.

Wednesday will be warmer with a mix of sun and clouds.  We'll enjoy highs in the low 60s, courtesy of a southerly breeze pumping in the warmer air.

Thursday's forecast is a little tricky, in regards to both the timing of the rain and the high temperature.  Some model guidance has sped up the cold front, bringing the rain into our region earlier, hence keeping our high temperature down.  Other guidance holds off the rain until the afternoon, and if that happens we could end up closer to 70.  I am leaning toward the first solution, where the showers arrive during the morning and taper off late in the day.  We'll provide you with updates as we receive new model guidance.

Behind Thursday's cold frontal passage will be much cooler air for the next several days.  The normal high for this time of year is 60 degrees, but that number will drop into the upper 50s by the end of this week, so our highs in the mid 50s will be slightly below average.
