Stoves!!

Can you believe that it is that cold that we are looking at buying a stove by the end of September?! 

We even put the thermostat on the underfloor heating up.

Oh and in other news, I'm in my winter boots!

I called to my friend before work today.  She is due back to work in 3 weeks after having her second baby.  Her first child started school last week and she has her little baby in crèche from this week on.  

Maternity leave is quite generous in Ireland with 26 weeks paid and then a further 16 weeks allowable which is unpaid.  My friend took an additional unpaid month on top of her paid entitlement.  She is currently getting organized for returning to work full time.  Fingers crossed it all goes well for her!
