A 3-year old girl in Lake County Florida walked almost a mile to her grandmother’s house to tell her that her father, Johnny Lashawn Shipman, had just killed her mother, Kristi Lynne Delaney.
WFTV reports that neighbors along the route saw the little girl and came out to help her get to the grandmother’s house; a family member says that when she got to the house she told them ”Mommy is on the floor. Mommy’s dead.”
Police arrived at the house and discovered the dead woman’s body; they have not released information about how the woman was killed.
