Dr. Oz Gets 1 Step Closer to Becoming Ryan Gosling, Saves Two More People

omg!
Apparently Dr. Oz is channeling Ryan Gosling these days because the cardiologist turned TV star is running around saving people left and right. (Remember back when Gosling rescued a woman from a taxi cab accident? Of course you do.)
But Dr. Mehmet Oz's latest two acts of valor take his Good Samaritan streak to a whole new level. On Saturday, he and a civilian named Chris Simpson witnessed a serious car accident in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and jumped in to help.
"We were two cars back when the car in front was making a left-hand turn," the doc explained to the local paper. "It's a very dangerous intersection. A car crossing the intersection hit the car turning head-on. It was like a scene right out of a movie. I thought for sure there would be fatalities. Luckily, there were not."
A woman was stuck in her car, however, and Dr. Oz wasted no time before rushing to pry it open.
"I asked her if she was okay," he recalled. And, even in her precarious state, the woman was a bit star struck.
"She looked over at me and said, 'Oh, Dr. Oz.' It was surreal to have that happen, especially in that setting," he recounted. "I pulled her from the car because at that point, it was steaming and there was oil dripping."
It seems he got her out just in time, too, because the car "eventually started rolling back down the hill there and collided with another car before rolling into a deep ravine." Eek.
Simpson, who aided Dr. Oz with the rescue mission, tweeted a picture from the accident with the caption, "First on scene to a multi-vehicle multi-injury accident doing patient care side by side with Dr. Oz."
But that's not all the doc has done to aid strangers as of late. Just this summer, Oz revealed he helped a runner in trouble. "While participating in the Usana 5k in Utah, one of my fellow runners fell next to me after completing the race," Oz revealed on Instagram alongside a pic of him with the runner-in-question in the hospital.
"Ken Roosa could not breath and frothy fluid was coming from his lungs, indicating pulmonary edema (drowning in your own secretions). After listening to his heart, we got oxygen on him and transferred 3 bags intravenously; he quickly stabilized at the hospital. Tentative diagnosis is heat stroke combined with a possible heart arrhythmia," Dr. Oz wrote. "I just saw him and he looks much better. Ken was lucky. I want you to all remember to stay cool in the heat. Just to be sure, I may jog with Ken for the foreseeable future!"
And all of this comes after the TV star rushed to assist a woman who suffered a severe foot injury in a cab accident in late August. (Seriously, this guy is everywhere.)
We're just waiting for Dr. Oz to break up a fight on the street before we give him an official Gosling Badge of Honor.
