Lenovo launched two new tablets in India with Android OS. The tablets comes with the tag of “Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10”. Yoga 8 have 8-inch and Yoga 10 have 10-inch display. Both tablets are released in October of this year in USA and now made entry in Indian market. The tablets are now available in all leading stores across the India and you can also buy through the company’s official site.
Yoga with 8-inch display comes with price tag of Rs.22, 999 and for Yoga 10 you must pay Rs.28, 999. Company have only introduce the Yoga Tablet with 16GB storage, Wi-Fi, 3G variant in Indian market, the other variant of tablets with 32GB memory is not available in India yet.
Both newly launched tablets running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, other technical specifications are almost same except the screen size. Both the devices have the display with 1280 X 800 pixels resolution, you can insert only micro SIM in SIM slot of both tablets. Both tablets powered by same type of processor ‘quad-core 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT8389 (Cortex-A7)’, 1GB LP DDR2 RAM is available inside the tablets. You can expand the internal memory up to 64GB from 16 GB, through the micro SD card.
For the long battery back-up Yoga 8 tablet featured with a battery of 6000 mAh and for Yoga 10 a battery of 9000 mAh is used. Company claims that both tablets will give back-up, up to 18 hours of Wi-Fi browsing. Both tablets have comes with 5 MP rear camera with auto-focus and 1.6 MP front facing camera.
Director of Consumer Business, Lenovo in India, Shailendra Katyal made a statement at launching event "Technology is a part of who we are, therefore it needs to transition constantly to keep pace with our changing lifestyles. With this intent, we have re-engineered the Tablet from ground-up to offer users a better way to experience the Tablet. We are confident that the Yoga Tablet will redefine the category and set the stage for devices that are in sync with the evolving needs of the consumer."
You can place a pre-order on company’s official site before 25 November and you will get free accessories of Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 5,000 with Yoga 8 and Yoga 10 respectively. The accessories include a sliver cover, earphone and a screen protective film, this offer is valid till November 25.
