Position: General Ledger and Consolidations Manager

Duration: Full time
Job Description:
KLA-Tencor seeks a GL / Consolidations Manager with the following primary responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close including revaluation, translation, and consolidation eliminations
• Supervise staff of 4 GL accountants, including detailed review of their processes and account reconciliations
• Create and maintain system & process documentation
• Prepare and review all GL SOX documentation
• Implement process improvements
• Maintain GL master data in SAP
• Assist worldwide / corporate finance and IT finance team with accounting / close issues
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports from SAP
• Maintain and implement new allocation cycles
• Identify and resolve system and process issues with users and IT
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to multitask and meet many deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex accounting and system issues
• Sense of urgency, curiosity, and eye for details
• Thorough understanding of FAS52
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills across multiple levels, functions, and locations
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bacherlor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• 7-10 years of corporate accounting experience required at publicly traded, international corporation
• 5+ years of management experience
• Solid experience managing the GL / Consolidation process
•System implementation and configuration
•Strong Excel skills (pivots, vlookup at minimum) experience
