Children's & Teen Assistant - The
Stonington Free Library has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, multi-tasking Children’s Room Assistant. Applicants must be available to work a year-round, flexible schedule of 15 - 20 hours per week, including weekdays, one evening per week and rotating Saturdays. Excellent computer, organizational and communication skills are a must. Candidate should have experience working with children and teens. Library experience a plus. Position will include reader’s advisory and home work assistance, so an outgoing personality is a plus! Hourly rate starts at $13.35 per hour with sick, holiday and vacation time (no health benefits). Please send resume, cover letter and three professional references via email to
