The bulk of the project has been awarded to South Africa. SchoolNet is involved in some of the ICT training that will happen in schools around the SKA, with Intel being the funder of the training.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Intel Teach Getting Started training was provided to 60 teachers from schools around the SKA this month from 2-5 April 2013. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Intel Teach Getting Started training provides initial confidence in the use of ICTs. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Carnarvon High School was the host of this training. SchoolNet offering training and support to Vodacom ICT Resource Centres

All Bran

I like to eat All Bran for breakfast however I find that it can hard to chew. It is a very dry twig like cereal. I think the best way to eat it is to pour boiling water on to the All Bran. It then reduces down to a sweet mash that is easily digested. I think it is also beneficial to drink a few glasses of water when eating the All Bran mash. US Embassy

We had to visit the US Embassy to get a document notarized this morning.  We needed to bring two witnesses along with us - thanks Amy and Barry.  We thought we would be in and out in 5 minutes but it actually took about 45 mins in total.  Amy had gone to work about 7.30am and then left to meet us at the embassy at 8.30am.  She then returned to work afterwards - she works a short cycle away.<br />The US Embassy building is quite unique.  <a href="http://dublincitypubliclibraries.com/dublin-buildings/american-embassy">Click here</a> for a short YouTube video and some info.<br />Once you walk through the security gates you are on American soil.  The other place this happens in Ireland is in Dublin Airport when  you go through American Immigration.
