JOB Location: Delhi
1) JD Process Engineer:
Experience : 5-10yrs
Qualification : BE (Chemical)
Chemical Engineers with 5+ years experience in FEED and/ or detailed engineering of Refineries, Petrochemicals, Gas Processing, Utilities & Offsite.
Candidates should have knowledge of :
- Work on process simulators (Hysis, PRO-II, Promax, etc)
- Worked on FEED/ Basic Engineering Packages/ Detailed Engineering Projects
- Preparation of Heat and Material Balance and PFDs.
- Equipment sizing and preparation of equipment datasheets
- Hydraulic calculations (pump and compressor hydraulic calculations, line sizing)
- Control Valve calculations
- Relief Valve Sizing
- Relief system design (including use of Flarenet)
- Development of P&IDs and Line Designation Tables
- HAZOP studies
- 3D Model reviews (and ability to work on Smart Plant Review).

2) JD Engineer Process:
Experience : 3-8yrs
Qualification : BE (Chemical / Mech)
Chemical/ Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years experience. Preferably, familiar with remote connectivity tools like MS Terminal Services Client, Installing and configuring software, resolving problems related to Network connectivity, Smart Plant P&ID administration, customization and implementation.
Should be willing to work in shifts in a support role and also interested in working on automation. Process Application Support
The main activity is to provide application support to users in Bechtel offices worldwide for Process / Process Systems Engineering computer based applications. Other activities include development, customization and implementation of these applications for projects.
The applications supported could be broadly classified into Process Simulators and Process System Applications. Process Simulators are being used to prepare the basic design deliverables while the Process System applications are used to generate the detail design deliverables.
Process Simulators
These include Hysys, Proii, Aspen Plus etc. Following are the activities:
- License Management of applications for users.
- Maintenance of licenses on servers
- First line user support
Process System Applications
These include Hydraulics Applications, Equipment database, Intelligent P&ID like Smartplant P&ID, Adapters for data exchange etc. There is a mix of third party and proprietary applications supported. In case of proprietary applications, it will require interaction with application developers for enhancements.
Following are the activities:
- User Support
- Training
- Customization
- Development - testing, utilities, knowledge base
Travel
There could be a requirement to travel abroad for supporting other offices, attending conferences, workshops etc. for limited durations.
