Library Assistant (LTA 1, part-time) - Essex Public Library seeks a reliable person with excellent customer service skills to work afternoons/evenings and occasional Saturdays, 15 hours per week. Duties include staffing the Circulation Desk, checking in and processing ILL materials, and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma and experience working in a public library. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs. Familiarity with III Sierra or Millennium ILS is a plus. This position does not include healthcare benefits. Hourly rate depends on experience and skills, but meets or exceeds the CLA LTA 1 minimum.
