Business Unit:
The RAPID Engineering team is a world-class organization tasked with developing the next generation of DUV and EUV reticle inspection and metrology tools. These systems are critical to the advancement of the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
This role is for the head of RAPID electrical engineering. Responsibilities include:
1.Manage the electrical engineering group with direct involvement with multiple program teams
2.Generate project plans, schedules and budgets for applicable subsystems
3.Generate specification and requirements from high level system requirements
4.Provide technical oversight for the development of all electrical subsystems from initial concept development to production release
5.Drive the technology roadmap for key electrical subsystems
6.Interface with Corporate Technology and other divisions in KLA to synchronize the image acquisition subsystem technology which is a strategic initiative for the company
7.Manage external vendors or contractors to deliver subsystems that meet design specification
8.The person in this role will also have the opportunity to fill a project or program management role given the right skill set and KT experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Experience in managing a large team is a must
2.Experience in project or program management is desirable
3.Solid knowledge in both analog and digital electrical design
4.CCD sensors design experience is desirable
5.Past experience with vendor management related to sensors, boards or COTS is a must
6.Proven capability in presenting to high-level customers, suppliers and internal reviewers
7.Must be able to cross functional boundaries to ensure customer and company goals are met
8.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9.Sensitivity to cost, reliability, manufacturability and serviceability are all considerations for this role
10.Knowledge of PLC processes is desired
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (academic) with at least 5 years of experience
OR
Master's level degree with at least 7 years of experience
OR
Bachelor's level degree with at least 8 years of experience
