Responsibilities:
We are looking for a senior systems engineer to support the development of the next generation film and CD measurement technology and hardware. Following the KLA-Tencor Product Lifecycle methods, the candidate will be required to participate in all phases of the design, design reviews and requirements definition for systems and subsystems. System requirements documents, feature requirements for software, analyzing system performance and modeling expected performance are key responsibilities for this position. Other responsibilities for this position include interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams in the US and overseas, analyzing system level impacts, modeling and simulations of measurement hardware, and evaluating throughput MAM and optics efficiencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate should have doctoral degree in physics/applied sciences/ materials sciences with at least 5-10 years of experience. Experience in the semiconductor industry and in other film/CD measurements would be a plus. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates should be familiar with analytical tools such as Matlab, Mathematica. Prior knowledge of Zemax or other optical design programs would be considered a plus. Prior experience in polarization measuring instruments, reflectometers, ellipsometers, interferometers etc would be considered a definite plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 7 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 6 years of experience.
OR
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 5 years of experience.
