Over the last two weeks Microsoft Partners in Learning in Johannesburg has been holding weekly webinars on Wednesday evenings on assessing 21st Century skills and using the LEAP21 materials. These are held on Wednesdays from 6pm – 6:30 pm. Please use the following URL to join but if you are joining the Lync webinar platformfor the first time you’ll be asked to download an add-on for Lync and that might take a while (give yourselves 40 mins to be safe!) Here is the link:  https://join.microsoft.com/meet/v-angels/Q6Z25RJQ.

What is LEAP21?

Tonight sees the last of these webinars. It is on “Use of ICT -Enhancing your projects using ideas from LEAP21”  LEAP21 is based on the way ITL Research studies measures innovative teaching practices. LEAP21 asks teachers and school leaders to analyse and 'score' learning activities to see how deeply they integrate 21st century skills, collaborate in designing new learning activities that provide deeper 21st century skills development, examine the impact of these learning activities on students' work, and use ICT as part of the process.
