However, she isn't even sure whether she will be involved yet.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">"I could be in all of it. I could be in none of it," she says. "So I'm forever texting writer Chris Chibnall just to remind him of my existence."</span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Chris Chibnall has started work on the second series for ITV and last week told US site Entertainment Weekly that he had plotted out the whole of the first episode already. Jodie has faith that the narrative will be of as high quality as the first and suggests that it will carry on from events of the first</span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">"He pitched it as a bigger series, so it's not that he's writing a second series for the sake of it; he's writing what he originally pitched," she explains. "For him, the story always continued."</span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Broadchurch, starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Arthur Darvill and Jodie Whittaker is currently airing in Russia, Latin America and Finland and will soon arrive in France and Spain.
