Today marks the start of Free People's customer takeover in celebration of the one-year anniversary of FP Me. Over the past 12 months, this user-generated project has allowed Free People fans to become Free People models and upload their personal pics sporting the goods.
And, in case you thought that was just great for you, it's pretty good for business, also. In fact, according to FP, there's "a 42% improvement in the same session conversion rate...when FP Me Pics are associated with product on the page." So, starting today, it's later Karlie Kloss! Sayonara, Sasha Pivovarova! Don't call us, we'll call you, Dree Hemingway! It's your pictures that will dominate the e-commerce site and inspire others to shop.
