Responsibilities:
This is a field marketing role in KLA-Tencor's film and scatterometry division, one of the core groups of KLA-Tencor's metrology business. The film and scatterometry division, conceives, develops, manufactures and markets film and optical CD metrology equipment for the front end semiconductor manufacturing process counting all major semiconductor manufacturers among its key customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts within a specific region including developing strong customer relationships, driving technical alignment meetings, working with an international sales team to define penetration strategies, formulate competitive responses and manage tool evaluations and competitive run-offs. Candidate must be strong technically to be able to deliver detailed presentations to the customer. Strong leadership across differing functional groups and effective communication with executive management will also be key elements to success in this role.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process and the importance of metrology tools and techniques in improving process control and will likely have worked in a wafer Fab environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline.
2. 5-10 years experience in a high tech industry, preferably in semiconductor industry.
3. Direct product marketing experience in a semiconductor or related industry is required.
4. MBA is considered an advantage but not essential to the position.
