Job Description:
The Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division provides industry leading metrology solutions for worldwide semiconductor IC manufacturers.  The FaST Division portfolio of metrology products includes hardware and software solutions for optical film thickness, optical critical dimension (CD), composition, and resistivity measurement systems.  These products are essential for the IC manufacturers as they provide critical metrology capabilities for the development and implementation of their advanced IC processes.  The FaST division is committed to support our customers to achieve performance entitlement of our solution and we effectively partner with our customers from their early research and development phase to the high volume in-line manufacturing implementation specific for their process needs.  The division consists of a global team located in US, Israel, China, and India.

 

Responsibilities:

1) Lead and manage a team of SQA/SQC engineers for metrology products.

2) Develop and implement testing methodologies consistent with the division's software development lifecycle model.

3) Ensure that the required level of quality is achieved in the products' software releases.

4) Create/enforce software process improvement initiatives to include more thorough white box/gray box testing; early involvement of  SQA/SQC engineers in the requirements phase, improvement in software development process, etc.

5) Encourage a division-wide "Quality Culture" where quality is viewed as everyone’s responsibility.

6) Ensure/Audit compliance to development process and quality performance by the software development and SQA teams.

7) Work with software development teams to ensure resources and test plans are aligned with development schedule.

8) Incorporate industry BKM to existing software process, e.g. quality reviews, etc

9) Ensure software quality plans are written and reviewed with the product team ahead of time for each planned software release.

10) Responsible for developing and maintaining the projects' software processes and coordinating the activities to assess, develop, maintain, and improve these processes.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- BS, MS or PhD preferred, in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in software quality management.

- Having some software development experience preferred.

- Knowledge (with experience preferred) on different software development lifecycles and methodologies, e.g. Waterfall, Spiral, Agile, etc.

- Experience with the development of automated testing.

- Fluency in SQA/SQC methodologies and tools, including programmatic-level testing; knowledge of white, black, and gray box testing methodologies

- Experience with CMM or ISO 15504 certification  preferred.

- Knowledge of Software configuration management.

- Experience with Rational Team Concert.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate (Academic) with at least 3 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.
OR

Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
