Gucci Mane is the subject of an Internet hoax this week, and you've got to hear what the Internet claimed he told a judge during a recent court appearance.
Gucci Mane Hoax
Asked whether he was guilty of assaulting a soldier, the rapper (real name Radric Davis) supposedly told a judge in the courtroom, "Bitch I might be."
The (fake) screen grab above says it all.
Instead of the Gucci Mane headline reading "'Bitch I might be' when asked if guilty," the real headline read, "Prosecutors brought up rapper's criminal history."
Some clever photo editing, and nothing more, following last week's incident in which the rapper was indicted on one count of aggravated assault.
That much is true. He is accused of assaulting a soldier with a bottle at an Atlanta club. The following day, March 17, Mane turned himself into the police.
The line is actually a lyric from his song, "Pillz (Bitch I Might Be)."
Well played once again Internet. Well played.
