The guys were out last night to prove that they’re more than a one trick pony and delivered the goods. Ben Haggerty, aka Macklemore, paraded the stage as an extra in Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with a red blazer and gold tassels adorning the shoulder pads in commanding fashion. The real question here is, who’s that guy that flows on “Thrift Shop” that looks like Michael Clarke Duncan (RIP) that nobody ever mention that really ties the song together?
The tag team is headlining the mtvU Woodies Tour at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley this evening,and yes, they also played here on Friday. Then after that, you can obviously see Macklemore & Ryan Lewis next month in our fair state at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction on….wait for it…. 4 – 20. You smell that smell? It’s Amendment 64 in the air that you’re smelling.
