Job Title: Materials Manager
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:
KLA-Tencor has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage supply chain relationships and contracts for assigned commodities/suppliers within the RAPID Materials Group.
2. Understand company business requirements, market dynamics and trends, supply base and supply base capabilities for given commodities.
3. Lead complex supplier negotiations. Execute, manage and administer supplier contracts, SOWs, SLAs, NDAs and any other required supplier agreements. 4. Effectively manage supplier relationships at both the enterprise and division, function and project level. Lead, develop, create and deploy supplier scorecards.
5. Lead, coordinate and manage supplier business reviews. Create, implement and/or drives industry and company supply chain best practices.
6. Ensure adherence to company supply chain management best practices, policies, procedures and external compliance requirements. Lead and influence cross-functional and cross-organizational teams. Lead supply chain management project/program management and complex problem resolution on new product, cost reduction, value engineering, quality, reliability, delivery, inventory and service initiatives.

Responsibilities may include developing, modifying, and executing Supplier Sourcing for new products Including the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals of outsourcing, part count reduction, key supplier quality & performance, and cost objectives. Establishes new product objectives and assignments, and delegates assignments to supporting materials group. Important to focus on customer (engineering) objectives/issues, program phase exits, manufacturing readiness reviews, and ensuring operational successful release of new programs.

Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules, and maintains inventory at planned levels. Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle. Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems It may also include some financial analysis of END, standard costs/cost reduction tracking, inventory targets, etc.

Qualifications/Education Desired:
1. Strong MRP (ideally SAP) experience. 
2. 5+ years of Purchasing management / Supply Chain experience

Basic Qualification:
Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.
OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
