Connected Educator Month is a United.States Department of Education’s Connected Educators initiative, coming out of Director of the Office of Educational Technology Karen Cator's working group on "online communities of practice."  There are an amazing number of free webinars to attend. Please note that the times are Eastern Daylight Time, so you will need to refer to the Time Zone Converter to work out the times in your region. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for professional development, possibly from the comfort of your own home. We think this is an amazing global conference and will consequently highlight the times for the webinars on the following few days (and then update again every few days until the end of the conference on 31st August 2012).  The full official and regularly-updated calendar can be found at http://connectededucators.org/cem.
