She is perhaps best known today for the series of best-selling "Eloise" children's books she began writing in the mid-'50s about a precocious 6-year-old who lives at New York's Plaza Hotel.<br /><br />Kay Thompson was born Catherine L. Fink, the daughter of a St. Louis jeweler...and she was always musical. She began her singing career straight out of college and by the time she was in her mid-20s she was working in radio as a singer and choral director. She toured with Fred Waring as a singer and arranger, and her group, The Kay Thompson Swing Choir, appeared in <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Manhattan Merry-Go-Round</i> (1937).</div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 12pt;"><br /><a name='more'></a></div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 12pt;">Through songwriter friends Ralph Blane and Hugh Martin, Thompson became a vocal arranger at MGM in the early '40s. Her projects included <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Week-End at the Waldorf </i>(1945), <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Ziegfeld Follies</i> (1946), <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">The Harvey Girls</i> (1946) and <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Good News</i> (1947). She had a small part in another of her assignments, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">The Kid From Brooklyn</i> (1946). <br /><br />Thompson was also vocal coach to the stars: Sinatra, Garland (who named her Liza's godmother), Lena Horne (who termed her "the best vocal coach in the world"), Ann Sothern, June Allyson and others. It was a trend-setting smash. Singer Julie Wilson recalled Kay's show, "Her act at the Persian Room was electric. Kay and the Williams Brothers moved so well, with one terrific pose after another. It was an absolute knockout. Kay's energy took your breath away. She wore those wonderful white pantsuits, which no one wore at the time. The show was very stark and modern, and the rhythm never stopped." A critic from <i>Variety</i>reported, "Her act is paced like a North Atlantic gale," and concluded, "Miss Thompson is more than an act. She's an experience."</div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 13pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 13pt;">Andy Williams remembered, "It's hard to imagine there wasn't an act like us before, because there have been so many since. And she could sing! Her next and final outing was a small (but memorable) part in Otto Preminger's <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon</i> (1970) starring goddaughter Liza Minnelli. During her final years, Thompson lived in Liza's Upper East Side penthouse; she passed away there in 1998.</div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 13pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 13pt;"><div class="MsoNormal">In 2003 Disney produced two movies for TV based on Thompson's first two Eloise books, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Eloise at the Plaza</i> and <i>Eloise at Christmastime</i>, both starring Julie Andrews as Nanny (the first Eloise book had originally been adapted for TV in 1956). In 2006 an animated TV series based on the characters from the Eloise books debuted on <i>Starz! Kids & Family</i> with Lynn Redgrave as Nanny. Following Thompson's death, her estate authorized additional books in the Eloise series and several have been written and published since.</div></div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 13pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; line-height: 13pt;">"Liza's at the Palace...!" was a limited-run engagement at New York's Palace Theatre from December 3, 2008 - January 4, 2009. Included in the concert was a recreation of Kay Thompson's nightclub act. The <i>NY Times</i> critic wrote, "From the moment Ms. Minnelli joins forces with a male singing and dancing quartet to resurrect part of a famous nightclub act Thompson created in the late '40s and early '50s with the Williams Brothers, the Palace Theater blasts off into orbit." Love the sunshine

My two hours of working on my sister's paperwork and trying to organize her business receipts for the tax accountant for her 2011 taxes (just got her 2010 a few weeks ago)  turned in six hours! I hate paperwork!<br /><br />However, I love our weather and I'm heading outside in a few minutes. I can't decide whether to get my bike down and go for a ride or go to the gym. It would my first bike ride since August 6, 2011, when I broke my scaphoid bone in my wrist and wore a cast for three months. I'm a little apprehensive about getting on a bike.<br /><br />I'll let you know tomorrow if it's the gym or the bike ride. Tomorrow is definitely a picnic down by the water with my sister. I finally got the disabled parking placard last week so we should be able to find parking (I hope!).<br /><br />I'm on track with the calories today and wearing my BodyMedia. It said I only slept four hours last night. That explains why I woke up exhausted this morning. Worth the fight

I'm starting to get back in the groove, but I forgot how much time it takes to track my food. Oh my gosh! Weighing and measuring, writing stuff on pieces of paper then putting it into the computer at night. How did I do this for most of four years?<br /><br />Actually, I know the answer to that last question. I wasn't the legal guardian for my sister that had a debilitating stroke six months ago. She left behind a very complicated, messy financial situation that I'm still trying to sort through and take care of things. The dust will settle eventually, but I can't wait for that day. It's that old story, if I don't take care of myself, how can I make sure she's taken care of?<br /><br />Tracking my food isn't really that terrible or difficult. I use the <a href="http://www.bodymedia.com/" target="_blank">BodyMedia </a>software, which I highly recommend. They've even enhanced it since I used it several months ago. You can customize the table by selecting ten nutrients to dispaly from a list of 26. I love this feature.<br /><br />Below is my food for today. It's certainly far from perfect, but it's an improvement over the past weeks and months. There's too much processed food, and wine for 211 calories? What was I thinking?! When I was eating the food, I thought I was being healthy. I had no idea that some of what I was eating was a really poor choice. The total calories aren't too bad, 1541, but I really need to watch the fat and sodium (processed food).<br /><br />I didn't wake up early enough for the gym this morning. I only had 45 minutes to spare before I had to get ready for work. That's not enough time to get to the gym and complete a decent workout. Instead, even though it was pouring down rain, I convinced my husband to go for a walk with me. He's not a very fast walker so it wasn't my normal heart-pumping workout, but it was kind of fun. We were both drenched by the time we got home.<br /><br />As I was getting ready for work I broke out in hives and my upper lip, left side, started to swell up. This is the sixth time this has happened in the past two months (sometimes it's the left side for the lip and hives, sometimes the right side). This time it didn't last long and was mostly gone by the time I got to work. It seems like each time it's less severe than the last time. Still, it's very disturbing. I feel like my body is attacking me. <br /><br />On that note, I should mention the life coach/therapist I was seeing. I quit after three sessions. As much as everyone thinks I need some sort of therapy, it's just not for me. Even though I was an acquaintance with this person and really like her, I didn't feel like it was helping me. The first session I was excited and it was fun, the second session, not so much, the third session I walked out knowing I'd never go back. <br /><br />I know this is going to get easier. I've been here before. Several times I've lost and gained weight. This time just seems harder than all the other times before, and I don't know why. What I do know is that it's not optional. This weight is killing me, and I'm worth the fight.<br /><div style="text-align: center;">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ </div><br />An afterthought:  I just remembered my phone has the BodyMedia app on it. I conveniently forgot. Das steht auch in allen Zeitungen. In der kleinen genossenschaftlichen</span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> jungen Welt</span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">, einem der wenigen nicht konzernabhängigen Blätter im Lande, lese ich, dass in SYRIEN Hunderttausende im Sinne der Regierung gegen Einmischung von außen demonstriert haben. Beide Nachrichten scheinen mir wahr zu sein: zwei Wahrheiten, die einander nicht ausschließen müssen, sondern ergänzen können.<br /><br /></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color: red; line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">SELEKTION NIMMT ZEIT IN ANSPRUCH…… WELCHE DIE WENIGSTEN HABEN</span></b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"><br />Wenn man alles zusammennimmt, was man – auch irgendwo im Internet versteckt – erfahren kann, erhält man am Ende vielleicht die ganze Wahrheit. Aber wer kann sich so viel Zeit nehmen, überall zu suchen? Wenn das landestypische regionale Monopolblatt, das seine In- und Auslandsnachrichten von einem der großen Medienkonzerne bezieht, die gleichen Nachrichten verbreitet wie der Regionalsender, den wir im Radio eingeschaltet haben, wenn sich also die Medien gegenseitig zu bestätigen scheinen – und sie stimmen fast immer überein, auch in der Wortwahl –, können uns schwerlich Zweifel an diesen Nachrichten befallen. Wir halten uns dann für wahrheitsgemäß informiert und geben uns, eben weil wir nichts anderes lesen, hören und ahnen, mit der halben Wahrheit zufrieden, die eine ganze Unwahrheit ist. Viele Nachrichten sind sogar frei erfunden. Wie können wir die täglich neuen Inszenierungen des Weltgeschehens durchschauen, wie die Interessen erkennen, die hinter der Bühne wirken?<br /><br /></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"><span style="color: red;">JEDE INSZENIERUNG BRAUCHT GUTE UND BÖSE</span><br style="color: red;" /><br /></span></b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">In einem derzeit vielgespielten Propagandastück ist der syrische Präsident Assad der Böse oder, wie die Bild-Zeitung ihn nennt, „der Irre“. So hat das auflagenstärkste deutsche Tageblatt zuvor schon Milošević, Saddam, Gaddafi tituliert. Als besonders wirkungsvoll hat sich auch die Bezeichnung „der Schlächter“ erwiesen. Die bösen Männer schlachten nämlich die eigenen Völker, die wir deshalb vor ihnen schützen müssen, und zwar dringend. An der Seite unserer guten Freunde in Washington, London und Paris müssen wir – legitimiert durch unser hochentwickeltes Verantwortungsbewusstsein – den Völkern helfen, sich aus der bösen Gewalt ihrer Präsidenten zu befreien – mittels unserer hochentwickelten guten Gewalt. Das völkerrechtliche Verbot der Nichteinmischung in die inneren Angelegenheiten anderer Staaten gilt selbstverständlich nicht für uns, die wir doch immer nur den Guten beistehen. Von der Propaganda angeleitet, mit der uns die dominierenden Medien reichlich bedenken, leiden wir mit den Opfern der bösen Gewalt; von Opfern der guten Gewalt wissen wir nichts. Was nicht in die Inszenierung passt, sollen wir möglichst gar nicht erfahren. So hindern uns die sorgsam auswählenden Propagandamedien an störenden, womöglich verstörenden Gedanken. Ganz fern bleibt uns etwa die Überlegung, dass die angeblichen Schurken, Irren, Schlächter vielleicht doch nicht so irrational und brutal handeln, wie sie uns dargestellt werden, sondern ihre Sicherheitskräfte einsetzen, um Souveränität und Selbstbestimmung ihrer Völker zu verteidigen, wie es gemeinhin die Aufgabe von Staatspräsidenten ist.<br /><br /></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b style="color: red;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">DIE GUTEN SIND DEMOKRATEN UND ERSTREBEN DEMOKRATIE WIE SIE DEN EUROPÄERN LIEB IST</span></b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"><br />Von den Guten, denen wir lieber heute als morgen Militärhilfe leisten würden, haben wir zwar auch keine näheren Vorstellungen, aber wir glauben fest, dass sie Demokraten sind und nichts anderes erstreben als die Demokratie, wie wir sie haben. Damit wir den schönen Glauben nicht verlieren, ersparen uns die dominierenden Medien beispielsweise Nachrichten über das Referendum, mit dem sich die Syrer Ende Februar mehrheitlich für eine von Präsident Assad vorgeschlagene neue Verfassung entschieden haben. Das Weiße Haus in Washington hatte den Volksentscheid schon im vorhinein als „lächerlich“ abgetan; er verhöhne die „syrische Revolution“. Dass Assad das Volk aufgrund der neuen Verfassung demnächst wählen lassen will, dass er also den Weg friedlicher Reformen weitergeht, verträgt sich nicht mit den Intentionen der Revolutionsfreunde im Weißen Haus und in den Chefredaktionen der Konzernmedien, deswegen schweigen sie möglichst darüber. Womöglich hätten wir auch ins Nachdenken kommen können, warum eigentlich die Deutschen in der Bundesrepublik von 1949 und der erweiterten von 1990 nie Gelegenheit bekommen haben, über die Verfassung abzustimmen.<br /><br />Dass vermutlich US-amerikanische „Revolutionsstifter“ wie in Libyen, Irak, Afghanistan und zuvor schon in Jugoslawien nun auch in Syrien fanatische Muslimgruppen zum Terror anstellen, würde das Verständnis der Öffentlichkeit überfordern, deshalb steht es ebenfalls nicht in unseren braven sogenannten Heimatblättern. Nachdem sie jahrelang den „Islamismus“ als globale Bedrohung dargestellt haben, könnten sie ihren Lesern schwerlich erklären, dass Assad gerade bei den syrischen Christen starken Rückhalt hat und dass Autobomben der „Revolutionäre“ gerade in christlichen Wohngegenden hochgehen. Darüber schweigen sie wie einst über die von „Kosovaren“ zerstörten christlichen Kirchen im Kosovo.<br /><br /></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color: red; line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">GIGANTISCHE MEDIENKAMPAGNE GEGEN DAS SYRIEN ASSADS</span></b></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"><br />Einige Aufschlüsse hätte uns der Report der Beobachtermission der Arabischen Liga geben können. Zivile und militärische Experten aus 13 arabischen Staaten unter Leitung eines sudanesischen Generals, in allen Provinzen Syriens stationiert, vermittelten zwischen bewaffneten Gruppen und der syrischen Regierung und schickten täglich Berichte an die Einsatzzentrale. Der zusammenfassende Report enthält auch deutliche Kritik an den Medien. Doch welche deutschen Medien außer der</span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> jungen Welt</span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> haben über die Mission und die von ihr gesammelten Erkenntnisse informiert?<br /><br />Und welche Medien haben Korrespondenten nach Syrien entsandt? Bitte melden! Ich kann es nicht genau feststellen, aber ich bin sicher: Viele können es nicht sein, denn es würde mit den beiden Hauptaufgaben der Medienkonzerne kollidieren: ihrem Propaganda- und ihrem Sparsamkeitsauftrag; sie sollen den Eigentümern der Konzerne möglichst hohe Gewinne liefern, also möglichst wenig gutes Geld für journalistische Recherche verschwenden.<br /><br />Der frühere CDU-Politiker und Manager des Burda-Konzerns, Jürgen Todenhöfer, der sich schon im Afghanistan-, im Irak- und im Libyenkrieg umgesehen und ganz andere Beobachtungen mitgebracht als wir sie gewohnt sind, konstatierte am 19. Februar in der </span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">Frankfurter Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung</span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> eine „gigantische Medienkampagne gegen das Syrien Assads (...) Jede zweite Meldung, die ich während meines vierwöchigen Aufenthalts in Syrien überprüfte, war falsch“. Ich fürchte, weitere Überprüfungen würden zu einem noch viel ärgeren Ergebnis führen.<br /><br />Wer genau hinschaut, analysiert und Vergleiche zieht, wird nach und nach hinter all den Falschmeldungen und Weglassungen ein starkes Interesse erkennen: den Anspruch der guten alten Kolonialmächte, andere Staaten, vor allem die, die reich an Bodenschätzen sind, in koloniale Abhängigkeit zurückzuführen. Mit diesem Anspruch wäre es unvereinbar, wenn die tonangebenden Medien die Guten und die – ihren Reichtum nicht freiwillig hergebenden </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b style="color: red;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">NIEMAND HINDERT SAUDI-ARABIEN DARAN, ATOMKRAFTWERKE ZU BAUEN</span></b><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18pt; margin-bottom: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"><br />Einige reaktionäre arabische Monarchien dürfen helfen, die Ausbeutungs- und Herrschaftsverhältnisse in Nahost zu festigen. Hohe Wertschätzung gilt vor allem Saudi-Arabien. Dass dort den (kleinen) Dieben die Hand abgehackt wird und Ehebrechern die Todesstrafe droht, darf schon mal erwähnt werden, aber bitte mit gebührendem Respekt vor unseren Geschäftspartnern. Dieses Terrorregime bewährte sich im vergangenen Jahr, als im benachbarten Bahrain soziale Proteste die Monarchie gefährdeten. Riad entsandte Truppen, die – gut ausgerüstet und ausgebildet – die demokratische Bewegung niederschlugen. Deutschland beliefert dieses Regime jetzt mit Hunderten Kampfpanzern. Und niemand hindert Saudi-Arabien daran, Atomkraftwerke zu bauen, derzeit sind 16 Kraftwerksblöcke geplant. Welche Zeitung, welcher Sender würde solche Tatsachen im Zusammenhang mit dem Aufbau der iranischen Atomindustrie erwähnen?<br /><br />Im März 2012 geschah jedoch etwas Außergewöhnliches: Das </span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">Zweite Deutsche Fernsehen</span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> ließ den iranischen Präsidenten Ahmadinedschad zu Wort kommen. Claus Kleber interviewte ihn. Andere Medien empörten sich darüber, zum Beispiel </span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">Cicero </span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">aus dem schweizerischen Ringier-Konzern. Dem, der vernichtet werden soll, verweigern sie jede Gelegenheit, seine An- und Absichten zu erklären, sonst könnte ja eine Konfliktlösung per Verhandlung möglich erscheinen. Das </span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">ZDF </span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">hatte sich ausdrücklich vorbehalten, das Interview redaktionell zu bearbeiten. Kleber bemühte sich auch, den Iraner zu provozieren. Aber mit Entsetzen stellte </span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">Cicero </span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">fest, dass Ahmadinedschad glaubwürdig und überzeugend wirkte – oder hätte wirken können. Offenbar hatte das </span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">ZDF </span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";">selber davor so große Sorge, dass es das Interview erst nach Mitternacht ausstrahlte. <br /><br />Über einen anderen mit großer Mehrheit gewählten Präsidenten schrieb die</span><i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> Frankfurter Rundschau</span></i><span lang="DE-AT" style="font-family: "Georgia","serif";"> dieser Tage unter der Überschrift „Der gnadenlose Barbar“: „Ein Präsident, der glaubt, den Tod von Menschen mit dem Tod anderer Menschen bestrafen zu können, macht sich mit den Mördern gemein.“ Der Verruf galt dem am Anfang und nochmals am Ende des Artikels als „Diktator“ titulierten Weißrussen Alexander Lukaschenko, dem die Zeitung aus dem DuMont-Konzern vorwarf, zwei zum Tode verurteilte Attentäter nicht begnadigt zu haben – bei dem Anschlag auf die Minsker U-Bahn waren 15 Menschen getötet und viele verletzt worden. Würde das Blatt jemals einen US-Präsidenten „Barbar“ nennen, der zum Beispiel Osama bin Laden samt Familie nachts in der Wohnung erschießen ließ, ohne dass bin Laden je angeklagt, geschweige verurteilt worden war, und der dafür verantwortlich ist, dass immer mehr Menschen in fernen Ländern Opfer nächtlicher Drohnen-Angriffe werden? Die Getöteten werden – wie auch der französische Attentäter, den 30 Elite-Polizisten angeblich nicht lebend aus seiner Wohnung zu holen vermochten – in keinem Prozess aussagen können. Photostory 3 for Windows is a great free classroom tool

199.6<br /><br />I know how it happened. I just can't believe that I let it happen. This is 100% on me. I did this to myself. There aren't any excuses for gaining almost 30 pounds in the past five months. I was 172 the beginning of November 2011, now I'm almost 200 pounds.<br /><br />I'm trying to claw my way out of this mess. It's really difficult. Everything is harder at this weight. I can't cross my legs. My clothes are all too small. I don't recognize myself in the mirror. Exercise is excruciatingly painful. The StairMaster, which was my favorite cardio machine is now a machine of torture. My knees hurt, my feet hurt, and most of all, my heart hurts. I've asked myself over and over, why?<br /><br />The absolute worse part of this that on top of all the other things I have to worry about in my life, I added being fat to the list. <br /><br />I'm working on it. Two days in a row at the gym, and I tracked my calories today (too high at 2,205). Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.<br /><br /><br />

NIGHTMARE PATIENTS ON THE HCG PROTOCOL

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">There is predictability to whether or not people are going to be difficult to work with during the hCG protocol. The most telling information is their denial of emotional eating and their emotional reaction to when food is limited, even without hunger. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Calibri;">These patients complain immediately (even before starting) of their disappointment in the protocol restrictions. Like how punished they are because they can’t put cream in their coffee. How bored they are with the food, within days of starting. They’re miffed by the fact they can’t have cheese, or add oil to their cooking. Usually these patients feel it is their right to eat, and their right to lose fat. These patients are so entitled they are ignorant to their own addiction. </span><br /><br /><div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">IT’S YOUR FAULT IF THEY FAIL AND YOUR FAULT IF THEY ARE FAT.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">These patients are the most difficult to assist. Why? Because they want you to take on the burden of their issues. They want you to give them a pill so they never have to admit faults. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">They complain they are feeling deprived, but admit they aren’t hungry. They obsess over the scale, are disappointed in the fat losses (no matter how miraculous), and believe there is someone else to blame. They admit they continually break the protocol with licks and tastes of foods that aren’t on the protocol, but deny they cheat at all. They ignore the science of leptin, but are astonished by their lack of fat loss eating less than 600 calories (after you include their cheats). These patients think the protocol is flawed and their body is flawed, but not their entitled view of gluttony as virtuous.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">These patients don’t want any responsibility and think because they invested money in your program, they are entitled to you as their savior. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And if you don’t meet their unattainable expectations, you are at fault. They believe a pound of fat loss a day is guaranteed because they were told by some shmucky Internet person (selling an amino product with appetite suppressants) that, “By using our liquid drops, the hCG protocol (even though there is no hCG in their product) would allow your body to release one pound of fat a day!” </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Despite the fact that you explained thoroughly not to expect that type of loss unless they have a metabolism they requires over 4000 calories a day. Despite the explanation of gains with minor cheats. Despite the warning that the hCG protocol is a hormonal therapy and that there is no guarantee they will adherence to the process, they demand a <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>100% return policy, even when they ignore every warning, and break all boundaries of the protocol. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Even though they paid for real expertise, they go to the Internet for “credible” guidance, and continue to argue that you don’t know how the protocol works. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>“I saw on YouTube this woman who said you could eat macadamia nuts to lose weight when you stall. I saw another video where they said not to load in the beginning. I called another clinic that said you can eat 1000 calories and the protocol would still work. I’m not hungry but I want an appetite suppressant. Can you prescribe those fat burning injections? I swear you told me fat loss was guaranteed. ” What a nightmare!</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Some people refuse to read anything. You’ve spent three hours preparing them, given them Dr. Simeons’ Pounds & Inches, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>a workbook, blogs, videos, Weight-Loss Apocalypse, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and everything possible so they have the tools to understand the process from every angle. But yet, they only want you to be there so they have someone to blame when they f*ck up. As if there was something you did that made them cheat! <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They schedule appointments just to complain about the protocol, and they hate you because you’re the one who is punishing them.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>And they want you to spend another three hours to verbally explain (again) how the entire protocol works.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">They grumble about the cost of your program when Internet sales of hCG costs far less. REALLY? There is no value to our expertise and we should work as slaves to your emotional illness? <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Should we take on this type of abuse, because you are entitled to ignorance? HELL NO.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">I have very little tolerance for this type of bullsh*t. Ask anyone who comes to our clinic and has immediately been shut down and refused a prescription as soon as the complaining begins and entitlement surfaces. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>If you are not willing to take personal responsibility for your problems, you are not welcome into our practice. Why? Because there is no one but yourself capable of changing your flawed view of yourself. I refuse to work with an abuser no matter how much money they offer. There is no value in accepting that type of abuse.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">If this patient sounds like you, you are in denial. DENIAL. Microsoft's AutoCollage is a must for teachers and students

Microsoft AutoCollage is a programme that allows you and your students to get creative with your images and combine them into a single collage. Best, of course, is that it is free. Microsoft Research has really tried to make this programme as simple as possible to use. Weekend Recap
