The position also<br />requires the ability to plan SW modules of 6-36 months in duration, work with team and to be technical and hands-on during the entire PLC.</span><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">- Participate in all stages of software development including deployment/trouble shooting at customer sites.</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">- Must have good understanding of general SW principles and constructs</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">- Need to be able to work with hardware and systems/application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software design.<br />- Interact with multi site team members (India & USA)<br />- Handle software sustaining activities<br />- Be able to communicate effectively, conduct technical presentations.<br />- Be able to conduct detailed analysis, consider the tradeoffs for the various solutions, and make decisions on which solution to implement and why.<br />Leverage on teams strength and abilities.<br />- Establish operational objectives and assignments, and delegates assignments to team.<br />- Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas,</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">divisions and/or customers.<br />- Lead and take responsibility for planning and development activities (e.g., driving software team to milestones, mitigating risks) for software product excellence in quality, reliability, user experience and functionality.</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">- Communicate and share information, learning, and methods with cross-functional team members to achieve organizational/program goals</span><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">.<b><br /><br />Preferred Qualifications:</b><br />S/W skills:<br />Knowledge of C/C++/C#/.Net/MFC, COM, ATL, XML, Java, OOA/OOD/OOP<br />Experience with CMM, UML, Rational Suite, Clear case.</span><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;"><b><br /><br />Minimum Qualifications:</b></span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">Doctorate (Academic) with at least 3 years of experience.</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">OR</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">Master's Level Degree with at least 7 years of experience.</span></div><div dir="LTR" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span lang="en-us" style="font-size: small;">OR<br />Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 10 years of experience in Computer Technology or SW Engg.
