Corporate Information Technology (IT) partners with each division in KLA-Tencor to develop, engage and promote global enterprise solution leading the way with innovations which meet the business’ needs. IT is responsible for delivering consultative services in support of our world-wide design engineering teams to meet our strategic objectives of bringing new products to market Better, Faster, and Cheaper
Responsibilities:
The Information System Analyst position will focus on engaging with our internal business partners to promote global enterprise solution leading the way to innovations which meet the business’ needs. In this position you will interface with the global Design Engineering group and provide consultative services and solution with will support meeting our strategic objectives of bringing new products to market Better, Faster, Cheaper. You will be responsible for identifying pain points in the development cycle and coming up with solutions to address those needs. Solutions can entail enhancements to current enterprise wide applications, changes to business process, application substitution or new technologies which will yield the desired improvements. The user must have a strong working knowledge of common industry application used by design engineers, must be able to establish good rapport with design engineering groups and managers, and provide continuous solutions and improvements to our business partners
Preferred Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE:
Having broad expertise or unique knowledge in Design Engineering or System Engineering applications such as CAD Programs, PLM and CLM systems, Source Control and Incidence Management Applications and the skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
JOB COMPLEXITY:
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts pertain to significant matters often involving coordination among groups.
SUPERVISION:
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.
EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a minimum of 12+ years of related Design Engineering experience.
Project Management Experience.
People person with the ability to establish good relationships with business partners
Minimum Qualifications:
Master level degree in Engineering with atleast 5 yrs of experience
OR
Bachelor level degree in Engineering with atleast 7 yrs of experience
