Circulation Assistants -
Naugatuck Valley Community College Library in Waterbury, CT seeks two temporary, part-time Circulation Assistants (12.5 hours weekly) for the Fall semester, 2012, with the possibility of extending through Spring 2013. The first position includes Monday hours until 8:00 pm; the second position includes Wednesday and Thursday hours until 6:00 pm; both positions include two Sundays/month (10am – 2pm). Duties include library assistance at the circulation desk with students, faculty/staff, and the general public. We will interview friendly, outgoing individuals with exceptional customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. An Associate's Degree is required; library experience using a computerized integrated library system, and familiarity with the MS Office Suite is preferred.
