To win an award, a claimant must show a causal connection; if medical records show a child has one of several listed adverse effects soon after vaccination. Phelps told newsandtalking.blogspot.com on Thursday that 'nothing is set in stone' though clearly he has enjoyed getting back into shape - he's down about 15 pounds - and working out with his former team at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club. 'If I decide to keep going and swim again, then I'll compete,' Phelps told the AP in an exclusive telephone interview from Minneapolis, where he is attending an Arena Grand Prix meet this weekend. 'If I don't,' he added, letting out a big laugh, 'I guess I'll re-retire. Just don't compare me to Brett Favre.' The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Phelps was among the athletes who underwent doping tests in the third quarter, the period ending Sept. 30. He was tested twice. Phelps is the winningest and most decorated athlete in Olympic history. He captured 18 gold medals and 22 medals overall at the last three Summer Games, shattering the previous marks. He is best known for breaking Mark Spitz's record for a single Olympics by winning eight gold medals at Beijing in 2008. His longtime coach and close friend, Bob Bowman, said Phelps actually re-entered the doping program near the end of the second quarter, but he wasn't tested and therefore wasn't listed that time in USADA's quarterly report. He would be eligible to compete again in March, according to Bowman. Each week, Phelps said, he's working out a couple of days in the pool, a couple of days in the weight room, and one or two days on his core training. 'I just think he's in a place where he's feeling good about swimming,' Bowman said. 'If he chooses to compete, he's got some time. I like having the ability to do it. To be perfectly honest, he's not anywhere near being able to compete in a meet or anything like that. We're just getting started on improving his fitness. We'll see where that goes.' By subjecting himself to drug testing, Phelps has given himself plenty of time to go through an entire season before the next major meet, the 2015 world championships in Russia, an important steppingstone to the Rio Games the following summer. FINA, the world governing body for swimming, requires an athlete to be tested for at least nine months before taking part in sanctioned events. 'This may not go anywhere,' Bowman said. 'We don't have an event picked out or anything like that. There's no grand scheme. It just sort of makes sense that he can make some choices if he wants to.' Further stoking speculation about a comeback, Phelps turned up at the meet in Minneapolis and even did some laps in the diving well. 'I just splashed around a little bit,' he said. 'The guys are swimming laps around me. But at least I'm exercising and trying to get back into some respectable shape.'' Phelps attended the world championships in Barcelona this past summer, but he seemed even more pumped about being on hand for one of the more mundane events that fall between the Olympic years. 'I just wanted to come up here and see how a meet was,' he said. 'This is kind of like a normal meet. Barcelona was not a normal meet. That's a big boy meet. Just being around this is exciting for me. It really has been a part of my life ever since I was a kid.' Of course, it's a little different when you're not competing. 'I said to Bob, 'Man, this takes forever.' These meets take so long if you're not swimming,' Phelps said. 'Man, it's so hot on the pool deck. It's absolutely brutal. It's a hell of a lot cooler in the water.' That sort of talk is sure to validate the notion that a Phelps comeback is more a matter of when, not if. His return would surely be welcomed by the entire sport and even those who only follow swimming during the Olympics. 'I don't think we look at it as bad news,' said Chuck Wielgus, the executive director of USA Swimming. 'I want Michael to do whatever he thinks is best for Michael.' Phelps' appeal goes far beyond the pool deck. His recognition factor has often matched athletes from far more prominent sports, such as NBA star LeBron James, a truly impressive accomplishment for a swimmer. Phelps retired at age 27 after winning six more medals at last summer's London Olympics, adamant that he had no intention of competing again. He had long said his goal was to retire from swimming before he turned 30. 'Sure, I could come back in another four years. But why?' he said last December, after beating out James as the AP's male athlete of the year. 'I've done everything I wanted to do. There's no point in coming back.' But, as speculation swirled about a possible flip-flop, Phelps softened his stance this past summer. He told the AP during the world championships, 'I don't know what's going to happen in the future. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow.' Now, he's moved even closer to a comeback. 'If I do really start getting excited and wanting to do it, I can make that choice,' Phelps said Thursday. 'If not, at least it's something we can say we were prepared for.' Phelps will be 31 at the time of the opening ceremony for the Rio Games - not that old, really, for today's top-flight swimmers, who have more opportunities to cash in on their success and can extend their athletic careers well into their 30s. Heck, Dara Torres was 41 when she won three silver medals in Beijing. Phelps doesn't need the money, of course, having earned tens of millions of dollars in endorsements during his career, and he remains a marketable name, even in retirement. If he does come back, it will likely be another case of an athlete who simply missed the thrill of competition, the day-to-day grind of proving himself against other top swimmers. After London, Phelps talked longingly about sleeping late and doing what he wanted without dealing with the often-brutal demands of his sport. He opened a chain of swim schools and planned to work more extensively with his foundation, which is devoted to water safety. He had hoped to stoke his fierce competitive side by getting serious about golf, taking part in a television series with famed coach Hank Haney. Phelps even joked that golf, which is returning to the Olympic program in 2016, was the only sport he'd possibly compete in at Rio. Now, he's moving back toward his true love. 'There are a lot of things that really excite me ... that get me motivated,' he said. 'But I swam for 20 years. That's something that's going to be very, very hard to top.' Today, the 67-year-old retired nuclear power plant employee is an experienced grower who cultivates pot for his multiple sclerosis-stricken daughter. <div class="body-slot-mod"> <div class="yom-remote"> <div class="yom-loading" id="mediacontentrelatedstory_container"></div> </div> </div> Majzlik faces a thorny dilemma: The Czech Republic legalized medical marijuana use this year, but maintained strict restrictions on growing, selling and importing it. For Majzlik, the solution is breaking the law to grow pot for his daughter. “She’s my child and it is my duty to take care of her,” Majzlik said, standing in front of a cannabis plant in his garden. “I do what I have to and I will continue doing so. I have no other option.” Medical marijuana is legal in a number of European countries, Israel and 20 U.S. states as well the District of Columbia. Advocates say it gives patients relief from the debilitating symptoms of illnesses including cancer, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson disease, where more conventional treatment fails. The Czech Republic’s parliament legalized medical marijuana this year by an overwhelming majority, with the law becoming effective April 1. But some 20,000 patients who are estimated to be eligible for cannabis treatment have no chance to get it legally — although so far police have largely ignored renegade growers such as Majzlik who technically would face prison. The ministry denies deliberately blocking access to medical marijuana, but few question that its policies have raised steep barriers for patients to access pot legally. The Health Ministry and its State Institute for Drug Control, the nation’s drug agency, banned health insurance companies from covering the cost of medical marijuana, and set the maximum amount patients are allowed at 30 grams (1.1 ounces) per month, an amount Zabransky says often falls woefully short of providing effective relief. The government also banned treatment for those under 18 and allowed imports of just four types of cannabis that can be obtained only from the Netherlands at a cost of about $ 10 per gram — prohibitive for most patients in a nation where the average monthly salary is $ 1,300 and the average pension is $ 500. The government said it restricted legal use to these four types from the Dutch marijuana monopoly to ensure quality. Health Ministry spokeswoman Dana Salamunova said medical marijuana is not covered by insurance because the “positive effects of cannabis have not been clearly clinically proven.” So far, two licenses have been issued allowing import and distribution of marijuana, and Salamunova said the cannabis approved under those licenses may hit pharmacies in December. The Czech drug agency plans to call a public tender in April for up to 10 licenses to grow an unspecified amount of medical marijuana. The winning bidders won’t be able to start growing until they’ve been issued licenses, a process that could take months in this bureaucracy-heavy nation. Jindrich Voboril, the government’s national drug coordinator, said the conditions for obtaining medical marijuana are “unnecessarily limiting and discriminating.” Under current rules the illegal market will continue to be the main supply source, a situation Voboril calls “unacceptable.” Zabransky said doctors’ only real option is to advise patients to obtain pot illegally, either growing it or buying on the black market. Even that route may be getting harder: The government last week launched a harsh crackdown on stores suspected of supplying material for growing marijuana, carrying out about 100 raids and putting dozens of people under investigation. Majzlik’s 46-year-old daughter has been fully dependent on her parents since her marriage fell apart three years ago. Martina Kafkova was teaching guitar at a school for disabled children when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 19 years ago. Confined to a wheelchair, Kafkova needs five joints a day to get relief from severe stiffness, painful spasms and breathing troubles because other available medicine is not effective enough. “Cannabis has saved my life,” said the tiny woman, who weighs just 43 kilograms (95 pounds) during a recent interview in the apartment where she lives with her parents. Living with it, should said, “would be a nightmare.” Her father had to step in after she ran out of supplies following her divorce. “She was in pain, screaming and begging me to help her die,” he said. Meanwhile, Majzlik spends most of his time bombarding authorities, including health officials and police, trying to make it easier to access marijuana and to lift the ban on growing it for pain relief. “That I face five years in jail for trying to provide something the current medicine can’t do is insane,” he said. “I don’t want to be a hero. Schiller took the stand in a damages retrial against Samsung with only 11 minutes left in the session. That gave him just enough time to introduce himself and talk briefly about his role at Apple, the development of the iPhone, and the event introducing the product. 'There were huge risks [with the first iPhone],' he said. 'We had a saying inside the company that it was a 'bet-the-company' product...We were starting to do well again in iPod...Then here we're going to invest all these resources, financial as well as people, in creating this product.' Apple v. Samsung redux: What you need to know (FAQ) He noted that Apple started working on the iPhone after it had already started iPad development. In the beginning, about 100 people worked on the smartphone. Now, 'almost everyone' at Apple works on the device. The comments came on the third day of a retrial for damages that Samsung owes Apple for infringing on five of its patents through 13 of its devices. Court kicked off Tuesday with jury selection in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. The trial is slated to last about six days before the case is turned over to the jury -- composed of six women and two men -- for deliberation. Wednesday involved opening arguments where Apple asked for an additional $380 million in damages, and Samsung said it only needs to pay $52 million. Apple witnesses who have taken the stand in the case include a couple of experts on touch-screen technology, an Apple executive in charge of components and materials procurement, and a few Samsung executives via deposition videos. The bulk of the session Thursday included questioning of Julie Davis, an expert accountant hired by Apple to determine just how much Samsung owes the company for infringing on its patents. She testified that Apple lost sales due to Samsung's infringing devices. But even if the jury decides Apple didn't lose a single sale because of Samsung infringement, damages should be $287 million, Davis said. John Hauser, an MIT professor of marketing, performed analysis on Apple's behalf to determine what value its patents add to a smartphone. He said during testimony that in a $199 smartphone, consumers would pay $100 more for features covered by three Apple patents. That includes the bounce-back effect for scrolling to the bottom of a browser page, as well as other touch-screen features. Much of the difference between Samsung and Apple's damages calculations comes from how much Apple should receive for royalties and what profit Samsung generated from the infringing devices. Both companies agree on the number of devices sold as well as the revenue Samsung generated. However, Samsung said it made a lower profit than Apple believes because of costs such as marketing. Apple arrived at the $380 million amount based on lost profits of about $114 million, Samsung's profits of about $231 million, and reasonable royalties of approximately $35 million. Apple estimates it would have sold 360,000 devices if Samsung hadn't released infringing rivals. Samsung, meanwhile, said Apple shouldn't receive any money for lost profits, $52.7 million for Samsung's profits, and royalties of only $28,452 because the patents have limitations. Judge Lucy Koh on Tuesday asked Apple and Samsung to again hold settlement talks before another trial slated for March. Samsung countersued two months later over patent infringement and said it was at work on touch-screen phones with giant rectangular screens and rounded corners well before Apple showed up. The initial trial, which stretched more than three weeks in August of 2012, wrapped both of those cases in one, somehow squeezing together the patent infringement issues, alongside antitrust claims, and even trade dress issues. In August of last year, a nine-person jury sided with Apple on a majority of its patent infringement claims against Samsung. At that time, the jury awarded Apple $1.05 billion in damages, much less than the $2.75 billion sought by the Cupertino, Calif., electronics giant. Samsung, which asked for $421 million in its countersuit, didn't get anything. However, Koh in March ordered a new trial to recalculate some of the damages in the case, striking $450.5 million off the original judgment against Samsung. What that means is Samsung is still on the hook for about $600 million in damages, but a new jury has to decide how much else it owes. The products in question include the Galaxy Prevail, Gem, Indulge, Infuse 4G, Galaxy SII AT&T, Captivate, Continuum, Droid Charge, Epic 4G, Exhibit 4G, Galaxy Tab, Nexus S 4G, Replenish, and Transform. The Prevail in particular racked up $57.9 million of the damages tally, which Koh said was a failure on the jury's part, since the device was found to infringe only on utility patents, and not on design patents. </div>

Phelps has been dropping subtle hints about a return while also playing into the comeback rumors with tongue-in-cheek jokes. It seems he's been doing this forever, even though it's only been 14 months since he walked away from the sport. Most of the swimming world - from journalists to fans to the FINA president to Ryan Lochte - is convinced and hopeful of a Phelps return, so his playful misdirections have been met with a laugh. But now that his comeback story is making into the sports mainstream, Phelps would be wise to declare his intent the instant he knows it. No one likes a Brett Favre. Here's what Phelps' coach, Bob Bowman, had to say about his swimmer's return on Thursday to USA TODAY Sports: 'It's premature to say [he's coming back]. What we're doing is kind of letting him have his options. [...] He's occasionally been training. He's picked it up a little more. We were just thinking about it, and I said, 'You know, you're getting in pretty good shape, maybe you want to swim in a meet?' He said, 'Well, maybe at some point.'' All of that makes perfect sense. Rejoining the drug testing pool is a necessary evil. Because of the regulations of testing and qualifications, Phelps can't up and decide to get back in the pool without submitting to prior testing. He has to leave the door open whatever way he can. So if Phelps doesn't yet know and is leaving his options open, then he shouldn't say anything until he's sure. Ian Thorpe tried to get back into the pool and his comeback was a disaster. The circumstances with Phelps are different - he's been out for just over a year, Thorpe was out of the water for five - but there's no use being hasty in making a major life decision. Who's to say Phelps will have the same drive? If he returns to the pool and doesn't have the fire to compete or discovers his 28-year-old body can't handle the physical toll of early morning workouts, he can bail without problem. It will be the comeback that wasn't. The difference between Phelps and Favre, so far, is sincerity. Whatever was going on in Brett Favre's mind, the public perception was that all his retirements and stop-and-start comebacks were part of some egomaniacal desire to be the center of attention. Maybe that was true and maybe it wasn't. It didn't matter. Perception is 9/10ths of reality. The perception has changed. People think Phelps is coming back and that he's merely stringing along the announcement. He has practical reasons to do so. But the longer his indecision goes on, the more people will tire of Phelps, who still has all the built-up goodwill he earned during the greatest Olympic career in history. It happened to Favre, who burned off most of the love with his Hamlet in a helmet routine. Phelps will hope to avoid that, as well as the other perils Brett Favre's comeback brought. It has not yet been announced but Arcade Fire has left off tour dates for April 11-13 and April 18-20, which happens to be when Coachella 2014 will be taking place. Rolling Stone added that the shows Arcade Fire have been playing to help promote their album Reflektor have all been at small venues. This will be Arcade Fire's first large arena tour. Ireland would become the first of four euro zone bailout nations to end its reliance on huge loans made during the worst months of the debt crisis. Ireland's bailout program will have totaled 67.5 billion euros or $91 billion. Ireland is seen as the best-performing of the four bailed-out economies; the others are Greece, Portugal and Cyprus. Its return to economic normalcy is an important psychological moment for Europe's single-currency zone, which is spasmodically emerging from its near-death experience. Ireland's decision to improvise without a prearranged credit line from international lenders was seen as especially daring given Europe's shaky economic stance. The economy of the euro zone - the 17 E.U. members that use the euro - stagnated in the third quarter as output slowed in Germany, Europe's largest economy, and declined in France, the second-largest, Eurostat, the European Union's statistical agency, reported on Thursday. Jonathan Loynes, chief economist at Capital Economics in London, said the gross domestic product report was 'a clear blow to hopes that the period of market stability seen over the last year or so would translate into a solid and sustained economic recovery.' Ireland's banks are still laboring under a mountain of bad debt incurred during the property boom that preceded the country's economic crash, and extra capital may still be needed. But a credit line might have come with conditions attached, and the Irish government said that, after discussions with other governments and with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, it was confident it could manage a full return to economic sovereignty without the need for a special credit line. In a statement, the Irish government contended that, having already raised some money on the bond markets, it held €20 billion, or $27 billion, in cash reserves that could be used to meet maturing commitments and funding costs until early 2015. The interest rates on its sovereign debt are low and public finances under control, it added. 'This is the right decision for Ireland, and now is the right time to take this decision,' Enda Kenny, the prime minister, told the Irish Parliament. 'This is the latest in a series of steps to return Ireland to normal economic, budgetary and funding conditions.' Within the euro zone, there had been an intense debate over whether Ireland should request a credit line. Some said doing so would set a precedent and subsequently make it easier for other nations, like Portugal, to leave bailout programs with a credit line. The decision to do without a credit line was also seen as a statement of confidence in the Irish economy and was welcomed by Christian Schulz, senior economist at Berenberg, who said Ireland could afford to 'go it alone.' 'Markets have been giving Ireland, much earlier than the Southern European countries, the benefit of the doubt.' Mr. Schulz added that a successful Irish exit from the bailout program could lift Portugal's prospects of regaining its economic sovereignty next year, possibly with some transitional help from international lenders. The four countries received bailouts from the troika of international lenders: the International Monetary Fund; the European Commission, which is the European Union's administrative arm; and the European Central Bank. But economists are still concerned about the strength of the overall European economy and the latest G.D.P. figures did little to assuage that. The overall European Union, made up of 28 countries, grew 0.2 percent from the second quarter, and 1 percent on an annualized basis, Eurostat said. On an annualized basis, Europe's 0.4 percent growth compares poorly with the United States' annualized 2.8 percent third-quarter growth and the 1.9 percent Japan reported on Thursday. China, the world's fastest-growing major economy, expanded at a robust 7.8 percent rate in the third quarter. In Germany, growth in the three months that ended in September amounted to an annualized rate of 1.2 percent. France experienced a decline of about 0.4 percent. There was some positive news, as Spain and the Netherlands broke out of recession with 0.4 percent gains, and Britain led major European Union economies with 3.2 percent growth. But Italy continued to limp along with a 0.5 percent quarterly contraction. Some Irish ministers did say publicly that they did not want to accept new economic conditions, beyond the steps they were already committed to taking under the bailout, in exchange for a standby credit line. Ireland has been seen as a laboratory for the type of austerity measures favored by some Northern European creditor nations like Germany. Christine Lagarde, the I.M.F. managing director, said on Thursday that the Irish authorities had established 'a very strong track record of policy implementation.' 'This bodes well as Ireland exits its E.U.-I.M.F.-supported program,' she said in a statement. 'Although uncertainties remain in Europe and the global economy more broadly, Ireland is in a strong position in terms of its bond yields and has built a sizable cash buffer. We look forward to continuing to work with the authorities as they address the challenges that remain.' By quitting the bailout scheme, Ireland will become fully reliant on bond markets to help finance its continuing operations and make good on payments to investors who have bought its debt. But Ireland's existing loans to those international lenders will still need to be paid back and these repayments will take many years to complete, with the final one due in 2042. Ireland has already tested its market access with some bond issues and in March sold €5 billion worth of 10-year bonds. The yield on the debt was 4.15 percent. </div>

Wall Street reached record highs on Thursday after the presumptive head of the Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, robustly defended the central bank's bold steps to spur economic growth, calling efforts to boost hiring an 'imperative' at a hearing into her nomination. The Dow .DJI ended 0.35 percent higher, while the S&P 500 .SPX gained 0.48 percent. The Nasdaq .IXIC was restrained by Cisco Systems Inc (CSCO.O) after disappointing results knocked 10 percent off its share value. 'Yellen still believes the benefits of QE outweigh the costs-- a little tidbit that could have been the most important thing she said market-wise,' said William O'Donnell, chief U.S. government bond strategist at RBS Securities in Stamford, Connecticut. 'She did not strike me, or our economics squad, as somebody ready to roll back on QE3 and that even another 200,000-plus print in the next nonfarm payroll number may not sway her.' One result is that the Fed finally seems to be convincing markets that even if it does taper, an actual increase in the official funds rate will still be distant. Short-term debt markets rallied hard as investors pushed the timing of the first hike far into the future. Indeed, there has been a radical reappraisal on the outlook for tightening since the Fed skipped a chance to start tapering in September. Back then futures on the Fed funds rate had implied a first hike in late 2014. Now a move to 0.5 percent is not fully priced in until November 2015. In just the past couple of days Eurodollar futures have rallied so sharply that they now predict the cost of borrowing dollars will stay near zero out to 2016. That in turn has helped drag down Treasury yields, with rates on two-year notes at just 29 basis points compared to a peak of 54 in early September. YEN GIVES GROUND For once the decline in yields did not trouble the U.S. dollar too much, in part because rates in Europe were falling even more following another disappointing economic report. Data showed the euro zone only just emerged from recession in the third quarter with growth of a miserly 0.1 percent as France contracted. The euro was off at $1.3450 after getting as high as $1.3497 on Thursday. Neither were there any signs the Bank of Japan would be diverted from its massive stimulus efforts with data showing the economy slowed markedly last quarter as consumers and businesses proved reluctant to spend. Yen bears also got traction on Thursday after Finance Minister Taro Aso told a parliamentary committee Japan must retain currency intervention as a policy tool. The dollar has been making steady gains on the yen for three weeks now to finally breach the 100.00 barrier. Early Friday, it was enjoying the view at 100.15 yen, having bounced from a low of 99.11 on Thursday. In commodity markets, Brent crude oil rose a second straight day on Thursday on worries about crude supply disruptions in Libya, while gold drew some comfort from the prospect of continued U.S. stimulus. Brent for December delivery rose $1.39 to settle at $108.51 a barrel on Thursday. U.S. crude was up 25 cents at $94.01 a barrel. Hedge funds including Philippe Laffont’s Coatue Management and Patrick McCormack’s Tiger Consumer Management both opened stakes in Pandora of about 1.1 million and 2.9 million shares, respectively, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings showed. The quarterly disclosures of stock holdings are intriguing for investors trying to get a glimpse into what savvy traders are buying and selling. However, the disclosures are backward looking and come out 45 days after the end of each quarter, and do not disclose short positions – bets that a stock will fall in price. Nonetheless, the filings are a rare window into the secretive hedge fund industry and the minds of its top managers. While Tiger Consumer dissolved its Facebook Inc holdings in the third quarter, Coatue opened a large new stake in the social networking site, buying up to 9.2 million shares. Andreas Halvorsen’s Viking Global Investors also opened a new 4.4 million share stake in Facebook. All three managers are part of the crew of so-called Tiger Cubs – hedge funds launched with seed money by Julian Robertson of Tiger Management. Both Coatue and Viking Global cut their shares in Apple Inc, joining a plethora of other well-known managers that turned on the iPod maker in the third quarter. Leon Cooperman’s Omega Advisors, David Tepper’s Appaloosa Management, Lee Ainslie’s Maverick Capital and Manish Chopra’s Tiger Veda Management all either completely cut or reduced their Apple holdings. Long one of the hedge fund industry’s favourite bets, managers abandoned Apple with vigour earlier in the year as the stock price plummeted. Cooperman’s Omega and Tiger Veda liquidated their holdings of Google Inc in the third quarter, the filings showed, but another internet search engine site attracted buyers over the same period. Tiger Global Management’s hedge fund, co-managed by Chase Coleman and Feroz Dewan, opened a new stake in Yahoo Inc, as did Viking Global, buying up to 9 million shares. Directed by the RSC's Artistic Director, Gregory Doran, Richard II will be viewed by at least 34,000 students across the UK and will be followed by a live Q&A with David and Gregory. 78% of the schools taking part in the broadcast are from the state sector and nearly half (46%) will be seeing the company's work for the first time with no previous ticketing history with the RSC. The performance will run from 09.30 to 12.30pm including a 20 minute interval and the live Q&A will run from 12.55 – 1.30pm. Both the screening and Q&A will be introduced and hosted by Konnie Huq.</div><div style="border: 0px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">A UK first, Richard II launches a series of Shakespeare productions that the RSC will broadcast free of charge to schools each term as part of its Young Shakespeare Nation project, in collaboration with The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts (CATA).</div><div style="border: 0px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">The broadcast is made possible through a creative collaboration between the RSC, Ravensbourne College and Janet, part of the Jisc Group, who manage one of the world's leading research and education networks. Janet has provided the resource which enable 3,000 terminals to log on to this unique online experience and the team at Ravensbourne has built an interactive platform that will allow them to present the film in an exciting and dynamic way to young audiences.</div><div style="border: 0px; line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">During the 20 minute interval students will be invited to submit their questions about the production to David and Gregory who will be based in a TV studio at Ravensbourne College with Konnie. After the production, all participating schools will be asked for feedback and student reaction to the experience with a select group of schools taking part in more in-depth focus group discussions about the impact of the project.
