Lit by the glow of the spotlight David looks positively ethereal as he saunters his way across the stage.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Director Gregory Doran says:</span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">"The long hair is partly to respond to the notion of Richard as an aesthete, whose rarified court stood in opposition to the belligerent Dukes. It also reflects his conscious positioning of himself as Christ betrayed by Judas.
