Director Gregory Doran made the announcement this evening during the Director's talk at the Royal Shakepeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. </span><br /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The production, which is currently in previews, opens in Stratford on Thursday night. It runs until 16th November 2013 before transfering to the Barbican Theatre in <st1:city w:st="on">London</st1:city>from December 9th 2013 until 25th January 2014. David Tennant stars as King Richard with Nigel Lindsay as Bolingbroke, Oliver Ford Davies as the Duke of York, Michael Pennington as John of Gaunt and Jane Lapotaire as the Duchess of Gloucester.
