Teen Assistant - Wilton Library

<strong>Teen Assistant - </strong><strong><span style="color: #48286d;">Wilton Library</span></strong>. To help develop and maintain the collection, perform teen reference duties, create or assist with programs and promote materials and programs through displays, reader’s advisories, tech tools and social media. We’re looking for someone who is proficient in using the Internet, employs Social Media tools and is knowledgeable with Microsoft’s Word, Excel, and Publisher software. An interest in reading and familiarizing yourself with teen literature is a must. Artistic and/or creative skills are helpful. Library knowledge and/or experience in working with teens are a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Hours are from 3-8 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, plus one Sunday a month. The candidate should have the flexibility to work additional hours for special projects and to cover some vacation time. Hourly salary ranges from $15-$17 depending upon experience.
